4. Fully automatic authentication mode:
The FUMO can be connected to various devices, the devices in the list, (hotspots) (same
SSID and PW).
Tick the box for “Allow dynamic match to parameters of hotspot connection”
This setting is recommended because it ensures that the connection is maintained,
in particular when the router has functions such as automatic channel selection and
intelligent channel selection.
5. SSID and password authentication mode
The FUMO can be connected to various devices (same SSID and PW); the devices in the
list are explicit exceptions.
6. Settings for changes of location: There is no function allocated to this point. We therefore
recommend ignoring this and not clicking on it
Click “Accept" to connect to the router
Click on “Restart”. The Wi-Fi module will restart. Wait for around 2 minutes, then close and
reopen the browser window.
De-energize the Wifi module and reconnect it.
The Wi-Fi module is now connected to the router and guarantees an Internet connection to
the connected components.
Step 3: Additional connections to the router
Because the Wi-Fi module is assigned an IP address after the initial set-up and con-
nection to the home network, you will have to enter the Wi-Fi module’s IP address in
order to regain access to the Wi-Fi adapter. You will find this in the customer’s
router settings.
