OPE RA TI NG INSTRUC TIONS
The scale will not m easure accurate ly in an environment subject to large
temper ature changes. T he unit takes approxi matel y 1 hour to adjust to such
changes.
Please appl y the object to b e weighed gent ly on t he w eighing tray .
Please try to a void hard shocks, shakings, or other rough handling as it will
dama ge the interna l senso r o r br eak the hou sing.
ON/OFF FUNCTION
Place t he unit on a flat, ev en surfac e and ke ep hor izontal. Press the “ O N/ OFF” key
and wait unt il “ 0 .0” will b e disp layed . The scale is level led off a s soon as t he zero-
stable-s ign “ —13 ” will be d isplayed . P l ace the object to be wei ghed on the wei ghing
tray. The displ ay will indicate the wei ght of the object and will be r eady to read
after the wei ght-lo ck-si gn “ ™02 ” is displa yed.
TAR E-FUNCTION
While the scale i s ON place the container to be ta red on the weighin g tray. T he
display will ind icate the we ight of the co nt ainer. Press t he “ TARE” swi tch and the
display will indi cate “ 0.0” . When an object to be w eighed is place d in the
container, onl y t he w eight of t he ob ject ( net wei ght) will be dis played.
Pressing the “ TARE” s witch again w ill cancel the T ARE FU NC TI ON.
R ETURN TO ZE R O
If after powe r ON or a fter remove an object fr om the wei ghing tra y the unit show s
any other number d iffer ently fr om "0.0“ press the “ ZERO“ sw itch. Aft er reset “ 0. 0”
the unit is read y to us e. Please repea t the wei g hi ng procedu re.
CHA NGE W E IGHING M OD E S
To change the wei ghing mod e dur ing wei ghing an obj ect, press the “ MODE“
switch. Each time you press t he “ MODE” swit ch t he displa y will indicate the
selected mode. ( Model RW -210, RW-22 0 g/ oz/gn/d wt, M odel RW -230
g/ oz /gn /c t/o zt /dwt ).
CA L I B RA TION (Attenti on: o nly possib le by using "g“ mode)
While power is OFF, press the “ CAL” sw itch and then at the same tim e the
“ ON/ OFF” swi tch until t he display indic ates “ CAL” . Relinquish t he “ CAL” swi tch
and then press again. As soon as “ CAL” is gleaming, please w ait until th e s cale is
levelled off and the display indi cates “ 10 0.0” . Now place a 100g tes t wei gh t on the
weighing tra y and w ait until t he scale is levelle d off and the displ ay indi cates
“PASS” . Press the “ ON /O FF” sw itch to turn off t he scale and to ke ep the
calibra ti on .
If the display indicates, “ FA I L” the calibra ti o n res ult is not correct. Pl ease r epeat
the com plete cal ibrati on procedure aga in.

Mod el R W-210: While power is ON place a quantity of item s, which yo u w ant to
count on the wei ghing tr ay (please not e that the quantit y should be 25, 50, 75 o r
100 pcs.). As s oon as the displ ay indicat es the we ight of the item s press the
"PCS“ switch until "100“ will be disp l ay ed. If you place 25, 50 or 75 pcs. on the
wei ghing tray pleas e change t he quantity "100“ by pr essing t he “ MODE“ switch to
25, 50 or 75 and then press again the "PC S“ swit ch t o confirm t he number of pcs.
When you take off t he counted items from the wei ghing tray the displ ay i ndicates
"0.0 “ "p“ and t he scale will keep the selected c ounting f unction. If you w ant to use
aga in the stored function press t he "PCS“ switch whi le the scale is ON and the
display will ind i cate "0.0“ "p “ . You are agai n in the stored counting functi on. If y ou

100 pcs.) . As soon as the display indicates the weight of the it ems, press the
"PCS“ swi tch until "10“ w ill be disp layed. If you place 20, 50 or 100 pcs. on the
wei ghing tr ay pl ease change the quanti ty "10“ by press ing the “ MODE“ sw itch to
20, 5 0 or 100 and then press again t he "PCS“ sw itch to confirm the number of
pcs. When you take off t he counted items fr om the weighing tr ay the displ ay
indicat es "0.0“ "p“ and the scale will keep the sele cted counting funct ion. If you
want to use again the stored function press t he "PCS“ swi tch whil e the scale is
ON and the displ ay will indicate "0.0“ "p“ . You are again in the stored counting
functi on. If y ou w ant to cancel the c ounting functi on press the “ CAL” swit ch.
