The Adyen Mobile Payment Pages
In some cases it is even better to not show the payment page at all to recurring shoppers, but just make an
Adyen Recurring API call from the mobile application. With various payment methods like credit cards and
wallets, payments can be debited from the user account, without showing a payment page. Of course clear
communication with the shopper is essential, because the merchant is liable for these type of payments.
In the future this same Adyen Recurring API call will make it possible to aggregate micro payments, which
periodically will be debited from the shopper account. Please refer to your Adyen account manager for more
information on this.
Supported Payment Methods
As seen on the screen shot, credit cards are supported using a native interface that is very easy for the
customer to use. Other payment methods that solely rely on user input are included too or are planned to be
included. Examples are Dutch incasso, PayPal and German ELV.
Payment methods that rely on redirection can be used, but offer a lesser user experience because a web page
is used optimized for larger screens. An example is the Dutch payment method iDEAL.
