Classication settings
• Parental Control (Kid safe)
Some DVDs show target group information. This is similar to the movie rating system (e.g. “PG74”).
With activated parental lock function the respective data on the DVD are read (if available) and compared with the
preset value. If the DVD is intended for an older age group than set it cannot be played. Select among the following
rating options:
- Kid Safe: Suitable for children.
- G: Suitable for all age groups.
- PG: Parental guidance is recommended. Some section may be unsuitable for small children.
- PG 13: Parental guidance is strongly recommended. Some section may be unsuitable for children under the age
of 13.
- PGR: Parental guidance is necessary.
- R: Juveniles under the age of 17 should only watch the movie in the company of adults.
- NC17: Children and juveniles under the age of 18 are not permitted to see the movie.
- Adult: Only adults are permitted to watch the movie.
In order to activate the individual parental control options, please proceed as follows:
1. In the “Parental Control” line press the OK button. A window appears for entering the current password.
2. Enter the current password with the Numeric buttons and confirm with the OK button. The master password is
“6666“.
3. Press the OK button again.
4. Now select the desired option and confirm with the OK button.
• Set Password
This menu allows you to change the password for the parental lock function.
To change the password rst the current password must be entered. The master password is “6666”.
NOTE:
In case you forget your password the master password deactivates the parental lock.
Change the password as follows:
1. Press the OK button in the field "Set Password".
2. Enter the current password in the field “Old Password” with the numeric buttons on the remote control.
The display shows “XXXX” to prevent unauthorised persons to read the password. Confirm your input with the OK
button.
3. In order to set the new password, press the OK button in the “Set Password” line.
4. Enter the new password in the field “New Password” with the numeric buttons on the remote control. Confirm
your input with the OK button.
5. Re-enter the new password in the field “Confirm PWD”. Press the OK button to confirm..
17. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support try to solve the problem with the tips from the following table:
Problem Possible cause and proposal for solution
No image, status LED not on
• Check if the mains plug sits properly in the wall outlet.
• Check mains power on the wall outlet with a dierent device or connect TV set to
dierent wall outlet.
• Check if the signal cables from source devices are properly connected.
• Check if the source device is turned on.
Image ickers
• Check if the input signal of the source device matches the specications of the TV set.
• Check if the PC menu settings match the video output settings of the PC.
• Set the values again.
TV set cannot be turned on. • Check if the mains plug sits properly in the wall outlet.

  • Frage ich habe eine AEG Rechner und möchte es kombinieren mit meinem Desktop oder auch Monitor genannt leider finde ich nicht raus wie es klappen sollte das von Standby meines Rechners also Laptops funktionieren soll der Rechner heißt AEG Asus Eingereicht am 7-8-2022 17:26
