Audio output
Here you specify the settings for the digital Audio output.
OFF: Output of an analogue Audio signal, but no digital signal.
RAW: Output of a digital Audio signal. Use this setting if your ampli-
er is notwo-channel stereo amplier.
PCM: Output of a digital Audio signal that is converted to a 2-chan-
nel signal. Use this setting if your amplier is a two-channel stereo
amplier.
NOTE:
If there is no Audio output, even though you connected the DVD-
Player to an amplier, you will most likely have chosen an incorrect
setting for the Audio output.
Here you can make various settings to adapt the video signal.
All settings can be made with a slide control.

Downmix
Change the characteristics of the speaker output:
LT/RT: Choose this setting if you want to play the DVD with the Pro Logic
Dolby stereo eect. This produces a almost real 2-channel replay eect.
Stereo: Choose this setting if you want to play a DVD, that has been
produced in the 5.1-Audio format, as 2-channel stereo sound.
VSS: You may probably not have a 5.1-Audio system. In this case you
can use the „VSS“-setting to simulate a similar sound eect.
5.1 CH: Select this setting to transmit the Audio signal to the output
device without changes.
NOTE:
The „SUBWOOFER“, „CENTER“, „CENTER DELAY“, „REAR“ and „REAR
DELAY“ menus only appear if the „5.1CH“ option is enabled on the
„DOWNMIX“ menu.
