Operation
Thedeviceisequippedwithmulti-functionalbuttons.For
different functions press the respective button briefly or
press and hold.
On/Off (1)
• Pressandholdthebuttonapprox.4secondstoturn
the player on. The status/charge indicator lights up.
Playback starts with the track, which was played last.
• Pressandholdthebuttonagainapprox.4secondsto
turn the player off. The status/charge indicator turns
off.
Pause (1)
• Brieypressthebuttontopauseplayback.Thestatus/
charge indicator flashes.
• Pressthebuttonagaintocontinueplayback.The
status/charge indicator lights up.
NOTE:
After playback of all tracks is completed playback starts
againwiththersttrack.
Adjust Volume (4/5)
PresstheVOL+(5)andVOL-(4)buttonstoadjustthe
desired volume step by step. Press and hold the buttons
to continuously change the volume level.
WARNING: Listening to music at high volume can
damage your hearing.
Select Music (2/3)
• Pressthe (3)buttontoskiptothenexttrack.
• Pressthe (2) button to skip to the previous track.
Press and hold the buttons to search through the track.
The sound is muted.
Charge Integrated Battery
The player is powered by the integrated rechargeable
lithiumbattery.Chargethebatteryasfollows:
1. Remove the USB cover (6). Turn the cover towards
OPEN.
2. ConnecttheplayerviathesuppliedUSBcabletoan
active computer. After a short moment the status/
charge indicator starts flashing and the battery is
charged.
3. After the battery is fully charged the status/charge
indicator lights up.
4. SafelyremoveyourMP3playerfromthePC.Follow
theoperatingsoftwareofyourPCforsafelyremoving
the player.
5. DisconnecttheUSBcablefromMP3playerandPC.
Replace the USB cover on the MP3 player. Turn the
covertowardsCLOSE.
NOTE:
• ThebatteryisonlychargedwhilethePCisswitched
on.
• Donotconnecttheplayerforalongperiodoftime
to a laptop computer disconnected from mains
power. Otherwise the laptop computer’s battery
may be discharged.
• Thechargingtimevariesaccordingtobatteryuse.
• Rechargethebatteryatleastevery6to12monthsif
you do not use the player for a long period of time.
• Playbackstopsifthebatterychargeisnotsufcient.
Cleaning And Maintenance
• Cleanthedevicewithaslightlydampclothwithoutany
detergents.
• Removetheearplugsfromthedevicebeforecleaning.
Cleantheearplugsinwarmwater.

Before First Use

Transfer Music
ConnecttheplayerviaUSBcabletoyourPC.
1. TurntheUSBcover(6)towardsOPEN.
2. Insert the smaller USB connector in the MP3 player’s
USB port and the other end in a free USB port of your
PC.
3. The computer detects the MP3 player as removable
media and it can be used accordingly.
4. Forsavingandexportinglesfollowtheoperating
softwareofyourPC.
5. SafelyremovetheMP3playerfromyourPCafterdata
transfer.FollowtheoperatingsoftwareofyourPCfor
safely removing the player.
6. DisconnecttheUSBcablefromMP3playerandPC.
Replace the USB cover on the MP3 player. Turn the
covertowardsCLOSE.
CAUTION:
• DonotdisconnecttheMP3playerfromthePCdur-
ing data transfer. This applies also if the data flow is
inactive.FollowtheoperatingsoftwareofyourPC
forsafelyremovingtheMP3playerfromyourPC.

Change Earplugs
The player comes with earplugs size S, M and L. For
waterproof use two and three-tier earplugs sizes L and S
are supplied.
1. To remove turn and slightly pull the earplug at the
same time.
2. Replace new earplugs by slightly turning and pressing.
Ensure that the earplugs are properly attached to the
device, so that they do not come off later and stick in
your ears.
Put On Headphones
1. Put on the headphone as illus-
trated.
The earphones should sit comfort-
ably inside the ear. Use a different
sizeearplugoradjustthet,if
necessary. The earphones offer
variousadjustmentsforcomfort-
ableandsnugt.Adjustthe
earphones according to your needs.
For using the MP3 player during swimming:
• putontheearphonesbeforegoingintothewater;
• usethewaterproofearplugs.
