Description of the unit
1. ROD ANTENNA

Radio operation
1. Select the wave band AM or FM using the BAND SELECTOR.
2. Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME.
3. Tune to a radio station using TUNING knob.
4. To turn off the unit set the SELECTOR to OFF position.
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To improve FM Reception incline and turn the aerial,
reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to a transmitter).
- For AM, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so there is no need to use the telescopic aerial.
Turn the set to find the best position.
Headphones jack
If you don’t want to disturb other people during your listening, you can connect a stereo
headphone (not supplied) with 3.5 mm, into the PHONE jack. The audio from the speaker will be
muted and you can enjoy your listening from your headphone.
Notes:
1. Reduce volume before plugging the headphone & adjust the volume to a comfortable listening
volume level.
2. Speaker of the unit is automatically disconnected while earphones /headphone are connected.
