The inserted mood icon, icon or sound is represented by the , or symbol.
You can enhance your telephone by downloading new sounds and images over WAP (see page 84).
The person receiving the message must be equipped with an EMS compatible mobile phone in order to
display the icons and mood icons and listen to the sounds contained in your message.
A message of more than 160 characters, or a message containing icons, sounds, or mood icons may
be billed as more than one message. Check with your operator.
While writing a message you can move to the following options using the key:
7.3.2 Sending an SMS
You can send a message:
• Manually by entering the number of the recipient.
• To a person whose contact is stored in one of your directories.
• To several different people by specifying a distribution list (choose the “Distribution list” option).
• To a group of people that you have pre-set.
• To an e-mail address that can be entered or copied directly from your directory

If the “Ack. receipt” feature is activated in “Parameters”, when you consult your sent messages, the
following symbols will indicate:
Msg.ack.: message sent and acknowledgment received
Msg.not received: message sent and waiting for acknowledgement of receipt or message not
received.You should send the message again.
