3. VOICE BOX can pair with a maximum of 2 Bluetooth devices. The connection will be
first come first serve basis.
4. To connect to another Bluetooth device, turn off the Bluetooth connection of the
last connected device and repeat the registration procedure with the new device.
CORDLESS DECT PHONE REGISTRATION
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to use the VOICE BOX with your cordless DECT
phone, you must register to the cordless DECT phone base.
- Press and hold
and simultaneously until the violet LED flashes.
- Enter registration mode on your cordless DECT phone base. ( For ALCATEL phones,
press & hold the “PAGE” button for 5 seconds on the cordless DECT phone base or
refer to your cordless DECT phone user guide )
- Upon successful registration, a confirmation tone will be heard with the blue LED
flashes intermittently.
Remarks:
- If registration fails, repeat the steps above.
- To exit registration mode, press
.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
- While Bluetooth connection is lost, press
to re-establish the Bluetooth
connection.
HANDSFREE KIT
a) Answer and end a cordless DECT phone call:

b) Answer and end a cellular call:
1. Use the connected cellular phone to control the VOICE BOX operations, i.e.
answer calls, end calls, volume control.
Or
2. press
to answer / end a cellular call.
Remarks: Ensure that the VOICE BOX has established connection with the
cellular phone with Bluetooth blue LED flashes intermittently.
c) Take the call from cordless DECT handset and transfer to the VOICE BOX:
- Take the line with the handset
- Intercom the VOICE BOX
- Answer the intercom call with the VOICE BOX by pressing
.
- Release the call at the handset
d) Make a conference with the VOICE BOX:
- Please refer to your cordless DECT phone user guide: DECT cordless phone
call and Cell phone call at the same time ( 3-way conference )
e) Call switching:
1. When talking on your DECT cordless phone, call waiting signal can be heard
when there is an incoming call from a cellular phone. To put the fixed-line call
on hold and answer the cellular call, press
on VOICE BOX. To end the
cellular call and switching back to the fixed-line call, press
again.
2. When talking on your cellular phone, call waiting signal can be heard when
there’s an incoming call from the fixed-line network. To put the cellular call
on hold and answer the fixed-line call, press
on VOICE BOX. To end the
fixed-line call and switching back to the cellular call, press
again.
Remarks: While having a call on a cell phone, you can switch the call to your
VOICE BOX to communicate in handsfree mode. Follow your cell
phone instructions to switch the call to VOICE BOX.
f) 3-way Conference:
- During an external call, either on fixed-line or cellular phone, press and hold
on VOICE BOX to set up a 3-way conference call with another calling party
on waiting.
- To end a 3-way conference call, press
to release the cellular call and/or
press
to release the fixed-line call.
MINI SPEAKER
You can listen to music on VOICE BOX:
- Activate the Bluetooth on VOICE BOX, with blue LED flashes rapidly.
- Ensure the VOICE BOX has established connection with the cellular phone or
other Bluetooth enabled music playback devices such as MP3 players, tablets.
- Use the connected cellular phone or Bluetooth music playback device to
control the VOICE BOX music playback operations, i.e. play, pause, previous,
next, stop, volume control.
Remarks: When there is an incoming call, the music playback will be silent.
VOICE BOX will ring and call can be answered by pressing
or

Music playback will resume automatically upon ending of the voice call.
TROUBLESHOOTING
As a general rule, if a problem occurs, reset VOICE BOX by removing the
batteries for about 1 minute, and re-install the batteries again.
SAFETY
Do not open your device or its power supply to avoid risk of electrical shock.
Do not attempt to open the batteries, as they contain hazardous chemical
substances.
Your VOICE BOX must be located in a dry place away from hot, humid and direct
sunlight condition. To avoid radio signal interference, place the phone at least 1
meter away from other electrical appliances or other phones.
ENVIRONMENT
