1. B ef ore installation and opera tion, you will require a drill, a cross-headed screwdriver , a flat head
screwdriv er , fixing screws and wall plugs. All of these are not supplied with this kit.
2. A void the T ransmitter positioning on Metal Fr ames.
3. A void positioning abo ve heat sour ces such as radiat ors , or in damp areas such as a kitchen or
bathroom.
How to use the door chime kit?
Pr essing the T ransmitter , a wireless signal will be sent to the Receiv er . The Receiver will be activat ed
and sound . The oper ating range is 100m ( in the open air ) and y ou can use the Receiver virtually
anywhere at home (only indoor use). Howev er , the transmission range will be reduc ed if the signal
is transmitted through a number of w alls or ceilings and Metal or UPVC door frames can also reduc e
the operating range .
Battery Installation
T ransmitter Unit
1. Remove the nameplate co v er .
2. T ake out the silica gel stopper with thin-tipped tweezers or needle .
3. Screw off the screw by using a screw driver .
4. Inser t a flat screwdriver in to the slot on the bottom of the transmitt er and turn to open the
front co ver .
5. Install a 3V CR2032 batter y matching the polarity (+ side up).
6. Close the front cov er .
7. Lock the screw and silica gel stopper back into the hole .
8. Put the nameplate co ver back.
Receiv er Unit
Remove the ba ttery cover and insert 2×1.5V AA batteries; Ensure batter y polarity mac th the
internal markings.
Auto-learning Code Set Up
The door chime kit is equipped with an auto-learning code ability . Please see detailed operation
Auto-learning C ode Set Up in the manual.
Nameplate
There is a nameplat e position on each T ransmitter . I t is f or user ’ s signature on it as identification.
User needs to remo v e the nameplate co ver and put a suitable siz e label with his / her name or other
information. Then cov er it. (Label is not included.)
Impor tant
1. Receiver is designed for indoor use only .
2. D o not mount the T ransmitter onto any metal surface or UPVC door frames, as this will reduce the
operation range .
3. D o not expose either unit directly to rain or immerse in w ater .
4. D o not mount either unit close to fir eplace or expose t o high temperatur e.
5. I f lea ving the chime for long periods , remove the batt er y from c ompar tment to pr even t leakage.
6. Dispose of old batteries in accordance with the relev ant legislation.
User Hints
If the Receiver does not sound , please check the following:
● Fla t batteries in either T ransmitter or Receiv ers-change the batteries.
● Wr ong battery polarit y in either T ransmitter or Receiv ers-reinsert the batteries.
● Units are out of range-Opera te the Receiv er within the operation r ange.

Digital Code T ype: Auto-learning
What is Auto-learning C ode?
The T ransmitter sends wir eless signal to the Receiv er . The Receiver would aut omatically register and
memorize the signal as an operation code . So the T ransmitter can w ork with the Receiver b y this code .
Auto-learning C ode Set Up
The Door Chime Kit is equipped with auto-learning operation code ability .
1. Operation for 1 transmitter and 1 r eceiv er
After battery installation on both T ransmitter and Receiver , press the T ransmitter once to generat e
a new operation code . The Receiver will sound , which indicates that a new operation code is
registered and memoriz ed .
2. Operation for 2 transmitters and 1 r eceiv er
After battery installation on the two T ransmitters firstly and then Receiver , press the push button
on each T ransmitter once within 15 seconds t o generat e new operation codes . The Receiver will
sound , which indicates that two new operation c odes are register ed and memorized . This is the
only way f or the 2 T ransmitters t o work with the Receiv er .
(If user press the push button on each T ransmitter after 15 seconds , only the first T ransmitter will
generate a new oper ation code and the Receiv er will sound to indicat e the first operation code is
registered and memoriz ed .)
3. Inter ference fr om another door chime operating nearb y (F or example, Receiver sounds for no
reason):
Remove the ba tteries from the Receiv er and rest f or 30 seconds , this will erase the memor y . Inser t
the batteries , and then the T ransmitters and the Receiv er are ready for the new code r egistration.
4. Operation for the 3rd / 4th / 5th T ransmitters and the receiver ( There is 2 T ransmitters included):
(a) Remove the ba tteries from the Receiv er and rest f or 30 seconds , this will erase the memor y .
(b) Load the batt eries into the T ransmitt ers and Receiver , and the Receiver is ready f or the new code
registration.
(c) Pr ess the T ransmitters once per each within 15 sec onds, they will individually generate new
operation codes r andomly and send wireless signals to the Receiv er which will sound to indicat e
that new operation c odes are register ed and memorized . ( The Receiv er has 15 seconds to learn
maximum 5 operation codes after batt eries are installed . If there is no operation code sent from
T ransmitter within 15 seconds , the Receiver would be only ready f or 1 new code registr ation. I t
means, only the 1st T ransmitter can work with 1 Receiv er after 15 seconds.)
(d) It is impor tant to remember that when you r eplace the run-out batt eries with new ones that you
will need to follo w the same procedur e of the auto-learning code set-up as abo ve .
Notes:
(a) If the Receiver sounds f or no reason during the digital code setting , it is indicated that it has been
inter f ered by other similar Door Chime nearb y , reset the auto-learning code as per point 3 abov e.
(b) 1 Receiver can only w ork with maximum 5 T ransmitters at the same time . I f the T ransmitter is
missing , terminal user can buy the only T ransmitter from store and set up the aut o-learning code
as instruction above .
