PREPARATION
Batteries:
1. Remove the battery cover and insert two batteries
with correct polarity (see the symbol in the battery
compartment).
2. Replace the battery cover.
Only discard of empty batteries. They should not
be disposed off in the household waste, but at
appropriate collection sites or at your dealer.
Time and date:
Because the time and date of a measurement are sto-
red together with the measuring-results, the actual time
and date must be set:
1. press button POWER to switch-ON the BDM-100
2. press and hold button TIME until after appr. 5
seconds the year indication starts to flash, you may
now release this button
3. use buttons 6and 5 to set the correct year and
press button TIME, the month indication starts to
flash
4. repeat instruction 3 for the date,hour and minute
setting
