PAIRING WITH A
BLUETOOTH
®
AUDIO SOURCE (Optional):
To be able to use the wireless Bluetooth
®
function, the MP3 player must be paired
to the external Bluetooth
®
device containing the music you’d like to play (mobile
phone, tablet or other). Pair the devices as follows:
1. Enable the search function of the Bluetooth
®
device that contains the music,
refer to the user instructions of that device.
2. Switch on the MP3 player and then repeatedly press the “MODE” button until
the Bluetooth
®
logo appears in the display.
3. Now select “ALECTO” in the list that appears in the display of the Bluetooth
®
device that contains the music.
4. When asked for a password, please enter the PIN code “0000”.
5. Depending on the type of device that contains the music, you might have
to set this device to send its audio signal to the MP3 player and not to the
headphones output or its own speaker; please refer to the user instructions of
the external device.
6. Attention: the MP3 player only plays music; it does not support phone calls.
