IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. This appliance may only be connected to the same main voltage as shown on the rating plate.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse or rinse housing, cord or plug in
water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
6. Do not contact any moving parts while the appliance is operating.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Take the product to an authorized service facility
for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
8. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or it's authorised
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard & damage to the unit.
9. The use of attachment or accessories which are not supplied with the appliance are not
recommended. This could result in electrical shock or injury.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surface.
11. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
12. The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
13. The blades are sharp: handle them carefully
14. Always make sure that the bowl lid and juice extractor lid are locked securely in place before
switching the appliance on.
15. Do not overload the food processor or exceed maximum capacity.
16. This food processor has a built-in safety lock mechanism; understand and familiarize yourself
on how to open the cover. Using excessive pressure may damage the opening mechanism.
Do not apply force to side locks with hand, but use the control panel to unlock first.
17. To set the correct speed, turn the On/Off switch to position 1 or 2. To stop the appliance
returns the switch to the “Off” position. By holding down the “P” switch (Figure 2) the pulse
function remains activated. Refer to the Application and Procedure tables for speed setting.
