Setting the Language Font
Four types of font can be selected.
Setting item: Language Set

Language 1 (Initial setting) / Language 2 / Language 3 /

Normal Font

European Font
Language 3 :
Russian Font
Language 4 :
East European Font
Demonstration
This unit has a demonstration feature for the display.
Setting item: Demo
Setting contents:
OFF (Initial setting) / ON
Note
• To quit Demo mode, set to Demo OFF.
Setting Adaptive Steering Remote Control
This unit is compatible with the adaptive steering remote control.
This function allows operation by sending the steering remote control
signal to the unit.
To use the steering remote control, perform the following button
operations after setting to ON and pressing ENTER.
For details, consult your nearest Alpine dealer.
Setting item: Steering
Setting contents:
OFF (Initial setting) / ON

Select the assigned function by turning the Rotary
encoder.
(e.g. Select SOURCE)
POWER SOURCE BAND VOL. UP VOL. DN PAUSE
MUTE BWD FWD P. U P P. D N A.PROC POWER

Press the steering remote control button until the
changed signal value of steering remote control appears
in the left of the display.
(e.g. Press SOURCE of the steering remote control button.)
The changed steering remote control signal appears in the left
of the display.

Press ENTER to execute the setting value.
The confirmed signal value of steering remote control appears in
the right of the display. With doing so, the function of the unit is
assigned to the steering remote control button.

Repeat steps 1 to 3, and set each button.
When settings have been completed, press to return to the
previous mode.
Display is selected on the setup main menu in step 2.
Changing Lighting Colour
You can change the lighting colour of the unit’s buttons.
Setting item: Illumination
Setting contents:
TYPE1 (Initial setting) / TYPE2 / TYPE3 / TYPE4 / TYPE5
TYPE 1 :
When the colour of SOURCE buttons is blue, the colour of the
other is blue.
TYPE 2 :
When the colour of SOURCE buttons is green, the colour of
the other is blue.
TYPE 3 :
When the colour of SOURCE buttons is blue, the colour of the
other is red.
TYPE 4 :
When the colour of SOURCE buttons is amber, the colour of
the other is red.
TYPE 5 :
When the colour of SOURCE buttons is red, the colour of the
other is red.
Dimmer Level Setting
In the Dimmer Level setting, three levels are available, the highest level
(Lev3) being the dimmest when the car headlights are on.
Setting item: Dimmer Level
Setting contents:
Lev1 (Initial setting) / Lev2 / Lev3
Scroll Type Setting
Choose from two scrolling methods.
Select the type you prefer.
Setting item: Scroll Type
Setting contents:
TYPE 1 / TYPE 2 (Initial setting)
TYPE 1 :
The characters scroll from right to left, one character at a time,
until the entire title has scrolled.
