ORIGINAL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS - ELECTRIC DRIVE FOR PEDELECS
46
15. MOTOR ASSIST
By switching ON the electric drive via the battery the system is operational.
The assist level 2 is already preselected, but may be changed at any time
(even before cycling). Due to legal restrictions, the motor will assist you
only during pedaling. Only the pushing aid which accelerates the motor to
a maximum of 6 km / h can be activated via the display without pedaling. By
changing the motor assist level you can set the motor speed during cycling
individual up to 25 km / h. You can always turn off the motor assist via the
display by selecting the assist level 0.
If you are still unsure familiar in the handling of the bicycle or not
with the electric drive system, it is advisable to choose before
cycling start the assist level 0 and to start the cycling without
motor assistance. If you then move the bicycle safely, you can
switch ON the motor assist at any time by selecting any other
assist level than level 0.
