Ev er y Assault AirRunner manual tr eadmill is built for maximum safety and meets or exc eeds all applicable domestic
and international standar ds. H owev er , certain precautions must be taken when operating an y piece of tness
equipment. Alw ays follow basic saf ety precautions when using this bike to r educe the chance of injur y , re, or
damage.
Intended Use
• The Assault Fitness AirRunner tr eadmill is non-motorized.
• The AirRunner ma y be used for running or walking .
• The AirRunner tr eadmill is appropria te for residen tial and commercial use .
• The AirRunner ma y be used only for the intended use .
• Any additional uses may r esult in serious personal injur y and/or propert y damage.
Spacing Requirement
• The minimum spacing r ecommendations ar e based on a combination of the ASTM (U .S.) voluntary standards and
EN (Eur opean) regulations as of Mar ch 1, 2017, for access, passage around , and emergency dismount: a minimum
of 0.5 m (19.7 in.) to the left, right and fr ont, and 2.0 m (79.0 in.) behind the treadmill.
• Consider car efully the requir ements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (AD A), US Code 28 CFR (see Section
305). ASTM standards ar e voluntary and may not reect current industry standards. The actual area for acc ess,
passage around , and emergency dismount is the responsibility of the facility . T he facility should consider the total
space requir ements for training on each unit , voluntar y and industry standards, and any local , state , and federal
regulations . Standards and regulations ar e subject to change at any time .
Instructions for Owners
• Read the entire o wner’ s manual before opera ting the unit.
• Save this manual for futur e refer ence.
• Assembly of T echnical Items: Assembly of the Assault AirRunner treadmill should be performed by a qualied
technician. A signicant amount of t echnical knowledge is requir ed for the safe and complet e assembly of
the unit. Many r etailers will oer deliver y and assembly as part of the sales agreement. If this unit w as sold
unassembled (in the car ton) and y ou do not feel you can perform the assembly successfully , please call the dealer
for service. Ser vice calls for improper assembly ar e not covered by the W arranty Policy and any associated charges
will be the responsibility of the owner .
• Do not use accessory attachments that are not r ecommended by Assault Fitness . S uch attachmen ts may cause
injuries.
• Assemble and operate the tr eadmill on a solid, lev el surface.
• All warning labels attached dir ec tly to the treadmill must r emain installed. If a warning label becomes illegible or
damaged, please con tact Assault Fitness for a replacement .
• Maintain the treadmill t o keep it in good w orking condition, as described in this manual . Inspect the treadmill for
incorrect, w orn, or loose components , and then correct, r eplace, or tigh ten prior to use .
• If you plan to mo ve the tr eadmill, obtain help and use pr oper lifting techniques.
• Do not attempt to service the treadmill yourself , exc ept to follow the maint enance instructions in this manual.
Instructions for Owners and Users
Before beginning any tness pr ogram, you should obtain a thor ough medical exam from your physician, particularly
if you hav e high blood pressure, high cholester ol, diabetes, chronic r espirator y illness , or heart disease; are pregnant;
have a family hist ory of any of the preceding conditions; ar e over the age of 45; smok e; are obese; have not ex ercised
regularly in the past y ear; have other chr onic illnesses or physical impairments; or are taking any medication. If
you experienc e dizziness, chest pains , nausea or any other abnormal symptoms while utilizing the tr eadmill, stop
immediately . Consult a ph ysician before con tinuing.
When using treadmill , you should alw ays tak e basic precautions, including the f ollowing:
• Assault Fitness cannot guarant ee that the heart rate measuremen t system on its products will work for all users
in all instances. Heart rate measur ement accurac y varies based on a number of factors , including the user’ s
physiology and age, the method in which the equipmen t and the hear t ra te measur ement system is used ,
external interference, and other factors that ma y inuence heart rate acquisition and pr ocessing .
• The tr eadmill should not be used without prior instruction by qualied personnel.
• Do not use while under the inuence of alcohol, drugs , or narc otics.
• Do not allow children, or people unfamiliar with the opera tion of this treadmill , on or near it. Do not leav e
children unsupervised around the treadmill .
• Do not allow children under the age of 16 to use the Assault F itness AirRunner treadmill .
• Do not allow animals on the treadmill .
• Examine the treadmill for loose or w orn parts before each use. Tighten/replac e any worn or loose c omponents
prior to use.
• Do not use outdoors.
WARNING: The AirRunner treadmill is non-motorized and means the user initia tes and
controls the speed of the running belt. There is no emergency stop feature and
the treadmill will slow to a st op on its own.
WARNING: The belt mov es freely in only one direction. Grasp the handrails whenever
mounting and dismounting the treadmill.
• Do not operate the tr eadmill without the handrail installed.
• Do not use the treadmill with walking poles or other devic es not specically approv ed by Assault Fitness .
• Heart rate monitors ar e not medical devices. V arious factors, including the user’ s movemen t, ma y aect the
accuracy of the hear t rat e readings . The hear t rat e monitors are in tended only as ex ercise aids in det ermining
heart rate trends in general .
• Never jump ont o the treadmill . Never jump fr om the treadmill. Never en ter the treadmill fr om the fron t. Operat e
treadmill only when facing forward . Never a ttempt to mount or dismoun t the treadmill while the belt is moving .

• Hold on to the handrail with one hand whenev er you opera te the console k eys with the other hand. F ace the
console and do not lean on or pull on the console at an y time.
• Never dr op or insert objec ts into an y opening.
• Keep hands aw ay fr om moving parts.
• W ear proper exer cise clothing and shoes for your w orkouts and a void loose or dangling clothing . Tie long hair
back. Do not wear shoes with heels, and check the soles of your shoes t o remo ve any dirt and embedded stones.
The running surface is not intended for cleats or r unning spikes .
