TROUBLESHOOTING
general
The service department telephone number can be found on the
guarantee card provided or on www.hps.nl
If you notice a crack in the glass top (however small), switch the
hob off immediately, unplug the hob, turn off the (automatic)
fuse switch(es) in the meter cupboard or, in the event of a per-
manent connection, set the switch in the power supply lead to
zero.) Contact the service department.
Noise in the base of the pan
While cooking, you might hear a rattling noise in the base of
the pan. This is harmless. The noise is caused by the effect the
high power of the cooking zone has on the base of the pan.
This noise can be reduced by selecting a lower setting.
Lower power level than expected
If your hob is connected to a 2 phase system, the capacity of the
left-hand zone and the middle zone will be limited to a total
maximum of 3.7 kW. You will not be able to use two zones at a
high setting at the same time. If the maximum combination of
setting has been reached you will hear a bleep and a dot will
appear in the display.
The power level of the setting with the dot will be slightly lower
than the normal power level on that setting.
