The electrical connection should always be
carried out in accordance with the national
and local regulations in force. Among other
things, these regulations specify that the
appliance should be grounded.
This appliance has been factory equipped
with a 5-core connection cable type H05VVF
(1,5 mm
2
) including earth (green/yellow).
This power supply should be fitted with a
plug in conformity with publication CEE7.
If you wish to make a fixed connection, the
plug should be fitted with a multipole
isolating switch with a minimum contact
gap of 3 mm.
The connection cable is of the type Y and
may only be replaced by qualified service
p e r s o n n e l .
The appliance is designed for 230 V AC.
The appliance may only be combined with
ATAG oven models produced since 1996.

Only a qualified electrician should connect
the hob to the mains supply. Damage
caused by improper installation or
connection is not covered by the guarantee.
To enable the appliance to function
properly, please ensure that:
– That the work top has a minimum
thickness of 3 cm and a maximum
thickness of 4 cm.
– The worktop is flat.
– If the hob is to be built in any nearer than
50mm from an adjacent wall or kitchen
cabinet, either to the back or side of the
appliance, the wall or cabinet should be
lined with a heat resistant material.
Whilst the hob itself will not generate
heat a saucepan or frying pan placed on
the appliance could possibly generate
temperatures high enough to damage
some materials.
– That sufficient ventilation is present both
under and behind the kitchen cabinet,
and at the front under the work top.
– Ensure that the connecting cable hangs
f r e e l y .
– Ensure that the appliance is not built-in
above a dishwasher or a refrigerator.
