Do not permanently remove the wire baskets! The
freezer section will not cool optimally without
baskets; in such a situation, the air circulation is
negatively affected.

The automatic icemaker makes ice cubes
continuously and works as follows:
Water flows
1. from the tap via a valve
2. and the water pipe in the fridge/freezer
combination
3. to the icemaker. If desired, the water is frozen
4. in the ice mould and ejected
5. into the ice container, where a sweeper arm
transports the ice cubes to the dispenser.
Set the switch to for ice cubes. Push a glass
against the switch in the dispenser.
If the switch is set to , the ice dispenser gives
crushed ice. The ice cubes are crushed by a
crushed-ice maker and then fall into the glass.

Pack the freezer section in such a way that there is
at least 15 mm of space between the various piles.
Keep at least 25 mm free between the top of the
frozen items and the bottom of the shelf above.
If frozen products stick outside the racks, ensure
that there is at least 15 mm of space up to the door.
– Ensure that food which is being frozen does not
come into direct contact with food which has
already been frozen.
– Food is frozen most quickly on the middle three
shelves.
– The "two-star" door shelves are only suitable for
storing prepacked frozen products.
– Do not store prepacked frozen products for a
longer time than is indicated on the packaging.
– Only buy food which is in undamaged packaging.
– Place frozen food into the freezer section as soon
as possible after purchase. Ensure that it doesn't
defrost while being brought home.

Do not store any carbonated drinks in the freezer
