3.8 Wall mounting

Your telephone is also suitable for wall mounting. Use two screws for fixing. Drill

two holes vertically, one above the other, 67 mm apart, and leave the screws

protruding from the wall by 5mm. Now place the telephone without the desk

support over the screws and push it slightly downwards.

There is a small hanging device in the receiver rest to prevent the receiver from

falling when it is placed on the rest with the telephone mounted on the wall. Using

a small screwdriver, turn this hanging device until a small hook appears at the

upper end.

If you are using the telephone fitted to the wall, you can hang the receiver on the

telephone without hanging up. You will find a small hook for this purpose at the

upper end of the receiver rest.

3.9 Adjusting the display contrast

With the receiver on the hook, the display contrast can be adjusted using the

buttons.

3.10 Setting the date and time

After fitting the batteries, the current date and time of day must be entered. The

display will show the message ZEIT? DATUM? and the cursor will flash on the

first digit of the time.

Note: If the message ZEIT? DATUM? is no longer displayed, the time of day

must be changed over from winter to summer time. Press the Store button

for

4 seconds. The message ZEIT? DATUM? will appear in the display and the cursor

will flash on the first digit.

1. As soon as the cursor is flashing on the first digit, you can enter the current

hour.

2. Enter the current hour by repeatedly pressing the

buttons.

3. Confirm with the Delete button

. The cursor will jump to the minutes

display.

4. Enter the current minutes by repeatedly pressing the

buttons.

5. Confirm with the Delete button

. The cursor will jump to the day.

6. Enter the current day by repeatedly pressing the

buttons.

7. Confirm with the Delete button

. The cursor will jump to the month.

8. Enter the current month by repeatedly pressing the

buttons.

9. Confirm with the Delete button

. Entry is now complete and the current

time and date will be shown in the display.

Note: If the batteries have become completely discharged, it will be necessary to

re-enter the time and date.
