♦ Your new autom atic watch contains a comple x mechanical movement which
provides seve ral features without the use of e lectronics.
♦ If the wa tch is worn daily, it is not necessa ry to manually wind it. Windin g the watch
daily will however inc rease the time keeping accuracy. A few turns of the winder will
suffice.
♦ Please n ote that slight time keeping inaccura cies are to be expected a nd that this
does not mean that the watch is de f ective .
♦ Tempe rature fluctuations can in crease the time keeping inaccu racies.
♦ Because of the sensitivity of the m ov e ment, it must be protec ted fro m sh ock and
magnetic f ields.
♦ We recommend that you have your watch ch ecked by a watch expe rt once a year to
ensure its longevity.

While wearing the wa tch, the normal motions of your arm will wind the movemen t. When
using the watch for the first time or a fter it has not been worn for a wh ile, the watch mus t be
wound manual ly. Ensure that the winder is in the initial position (H) and turn the winder 10-15
turns in the clockwise direction. Now contin ue with the settings.

When us ing the buttons of your watch , push down slowly and with little force.
Wait for a sh ort while after each push . Pushing a button repeatedly in ra pid
succession can cause damage to the movement.
Use a pointed tool to push the recessed button s.

If the date disp lay is showing the dat e "1" the time must not be set so far back that
the date han d would jump backwards as this could cause dama ge to the
movemen t.
Pull the winder into th e setting position- the second hand will stop . Set the time by turning
the winder counte r-clockwise- the hands of both time zones will m ove together. Now turn the
winder clockwise only

only to set the first time zone- the minute hands of bo th time zones will turn
together, the hour h and of the second time z one will stand still. Press the winder back into the
initial position .

Do not set the date between 8:00 pm an d 5:00 a m as this can cause damage to the
movemen t.
Set the date by repe atedly pressing button C . After the date han d reaches the date "31",
repeatedly press C to cause the hand to jump back to the date "1".

The power reserve shows the winding status of the movement. When windin g the watch, the
hand will move from rig h t to left.

The strap can be sh ortened by removing links. Lin ks that can be remove d are marked with an
arrow. Place the wa tch on a soft surface to avoid scratch es. Use a pointed tool to pus h the bar
out in the direction of the arrow. Pull the bar out us ing a tool if necessary. Th e strap can now
be disassemble d.
Remove as many lin ks as necessary and reassem ble the strap. Insert the bars in the opposite
direction of the a rrows.
