"WINTER KIT" LOW TEMPERATURE PROTECTION :
The security of a constant ideal temperature inside your Climadiff wine cellar.
Will an ambient temperature drop have an impact on the preservation quality of my wine cellar ?
No ! The temperature inside your wine cellar is automatically regulated with respect to the ambient
temperature of the area where it is located thanks to a totally automatic system.
To avoid subjecting your wines to too abrupt temperature changes when the outdoor temperature suddenly
drops (but not below 0°C and without freezing), Climadiff has developed an automatic WINTER KIT.
TECHNICALLY SPEAKING, HOW DOES THE WINTER KIT WORK ?
This system is an entirely autonomous system and does not require you to make any intervention. The
system becomes active as a function of your temperature setting, the ambient temperature and the
temperature in the lower part of the cabinet.
As soon as the temperature in the bottom of your wine cabinet drops below the preset temperature (11-
13°C / 8-18°C), the winter system starts running after a short while. The heating resistance warms the
entire cabinet very slowly, smoothly and silently. So, your wines remain under optimum preservation
conditions !
IMPORTANT : only the compressor and therefore the refrigeration system generates noise.
Heating is done silently by a heating resistance.
If your wine cellar is in any of these possible cases and does not make any noise, don't worry - this
is not a failure !
VIBRATIONS
Wine does not like to be disturbed. It especially dreads vibrations.
This is why your wine cellar's compressor is mounted on special shock absorbers called "silent blocks".
Likewise, the inside tank is insulated from the body by a thick layer of polyurethane foam which has the
particularity of also absorbing vibrations.
Depending on the models, the wine bottle trays are made of solid wood and absorb vibrations better than
metal. On some models, the wine bottle tray supports are also equipped with rubber pads.
Your bottles are sleeping peacefully !
AERATION
PURE AIR permanently refreshed and filtered
Your Climadiff wine cellar is equipped with a permanent air refreshing system filtered by an activated
charcoal filter.
It is recommended to replace this filter once a year (may be ordered from your retailer or via our Internet
site www.climadiff.com under the heading "accessories" or via the Internet site www.vinokado.com). Refer
to your wine cellar diagram to see where the filter is located and to the chapter "maintenance" for the
description of the procedure to remove it.
