al l the parts ar e funconable and fr ee fr om an y damag es.
Please dispose of y our sea t in the e v en t of an y
v ehicle and/ or violen t c ollision as the child sea t ma y be
damag ed but the damag e ma y not be imme dia t ely visible.
N o modific a ons, lubric a ons and/ or part chang es

Mak e sure the child seat backr est ⑫ is touching
the vehicle seat backr est and the vehicle sea t headrest is not
pushing the child seat aw ay fr om the vehicle seat backr est. Y ou
may adjus t or even r emove the vehicle sea t headrest if needed.

Please check that the child seat is c onnected
securely by trying to pull it out on both sides.
Please ensure the ISOFIX connect ors ③ are fully
stow ed inside the seat in their fully r etract ed stowed posion.
Check that the shoulder
belt ⑮ r uns ove r your child’ s
collar -bone, not across his/her
neck.
9. Firs t pull the shoulder belt part
that cr osses the body of the child to
remov e the slack from lap secon.
Then pull the shoulder belt ⑮ part
above the child seat t o remov e
the remaining slack.

1.The child seat is corr ectly secured. The lap belt ⑯ runs in
the lap belt guide ② on both sides of the seat cushion ⑦ .
2.The shoulder belt ⑮ runs in the lap belt guide ② on
the side of vehicle’ s 3-point belt buckle ⑰ and the shoulder
belt guide ① on the other side of the headrest⑨ .
3.The vehicle’ s 3-point belt is ght and not twist ed. The
3-point belt buckle ⑰ must not be posioned in the
lap belt guide ② .
UNF ASTENING THE CHILD:
Press the release buon of the vehicle seat belt
buckle to unf asten the child.

the headrest unl it lies complet ely
in the shoulder belt guide ①and lock
key ⑱ is closed and shoulder
belt secon not twist ed.
6. Place the shoulder belt secon ⑮
and lap b elt secon ⑯ on the side of
the vehicle seatbelt buckle ⑰ into
the red c olor lap belt guide ② of
the seat cushion ⑦ .
7. Place the lap belt secon ⑯ on
the other side of the seat cushion
into the r ed lap belt guide ② .
The lap belt secon
⑯ must lie as low as possible
over the child’ s pelvis on both sides to
provide the best protecon .
If the shoulder belt guide ① is concealed by
the backrest ⑫ , adjus t the headrest ⑨ up wards t o allow
the should er belt secon ⑮ can be inserted easily into
the shoulder belt guide ① and then adjust the head-
rest ⑨ back to the correct heigh t.

on the vehicle seat. Push the
child seat tow ards the v ehicle seat
unl it r ests ag ainst the vehicle
seat backres t.
2. Carry out the steps in “Posi-
oning the child”.
B. WITH VEHICLES WHICH DO NO T HA VE
ISOFIX ANCHORING POINTS.
Star-Fix can be installed forward-facing with a vehicle’s
3-point belt, approved to UNECE Regulation No.16 or
other . It is compatible with universal seating positions
in vehicles. Please read your vehicle handbook.
1. Push the lock k ey ⑱ on the shoulder belt guide ①
inwar ds and unthread the shoulder belt ⑮ fr om the
shoulder belt guide ① .
2.Press the ISOFIX indica tor buon ⑤ and squee ze the
ISOFIX locking buon ④ to r elease the ISOFIX connector
③. This acon needs to be done to release both
ISOFIX connector s.
3.Pull and hold the ISOFIX release handle ⑥ and
push the ISOFIX connector s ③ into the s tor age
posion under the seat cushion ⑦ .
5. Posion the vehicle 3-poin t belt
in fron t of the child and lock the
belt into the buckle of the v ehicle
with a click.
Mak e sure tha t the
3-point belt is not twist ed.
1. Seat your child in the child sea t.
2.The headrest ⑨ shall be
adjusted to a lev el that the
shoulder belt guide ① is just
above the child’ s shoulders.
3. Pull the headrest r elease handle ⑧
on the back of the headrest, this unlocks
the headrest.
4. While pulling and holding the
headres t r elease handle⑧ , move
the unlock ed headrest ⑨ to the desired
height. R elease the handle to lock
the headres t into a desir ed posion.

me as the child will grow .

backres t cover .
