BarrelQ is multifunctional. It is a BBQ, a

 re pit, but also...a side table! Put the lid

on it and you have a table. How many

beers would  t on there?

HEALTH AND

SAFETY

Did you know that the BarrelQ is

especially responsible when it comes to

occupational health and safety? You do

not have to bend far to reach your meat.

That saves you from a hernia. Grilling at

hip height, baby! (the mini does not have

this advantage unless you are a gnome)

RUST

The upper ring of the barrel has the

tendency to rust a little bit. That is why

you should smear some oil on it (you

can  nd it in the kitchen), that makes a

di erence. The bottom might also rust.

If you do not want a brown circle on

your terrace: place something below the

BarrelQ. By the way: the BarrelQ can

be left outside the entire winter. It is as

tough as nails.Or just order our cover.

Suggestion 1: Place it in a good spot

Place the barbecue on a solid, ﬂ at surface. And do not move it during the use of the barbecue.

That is why you should make sure it is on the right spot, before you light it up. Do not move a

burning or still hot barbecue.

Suggestion 2: Keep suﬃ cient distance

Always keep suﬃ cient distance from ﬂ ammable objects, like trees, wooden fences or pergolas.

Keep children and pets at a distance. (duh!) Use long pins, meat forks and tongs.

Suggestion 3: Be prepared

Do not wear easily ﬂ ammable clothing and also do not barbecue bare-chested. (not pleasant for

anyone anyway...) Keep extinguishing equipment, water and sand near you. Number of the  re

Suggestion 4: Watch your environment

Do not barbecue under an overhanging roof and de nitely not indoors. In addition to the  re

hazard there is also the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. At a barbecue in the great outdoors:

in case of drought, forest, heathland and dunes are very ﬂ ammable.

If you did not know it yet: the BarrelQ will get hot when used. Therefore, just a suggesti-

on: use your common sense. If you do not have that, here are some suggestions.

Do not cook before the fuel has a coating of ash.

WARNING! This barbecue will become very hot, do not move it during operation!

WARNING! Do not use indoors!

WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for lighting or relighting! Use only  relighters complying to EN 1860-3!

WARNING! Keep children and pets away!
