ADVICE AND TIPS
TIPS
Before loading the baskets , remove all food r esidues from the crockery
and
empty the glasses. Y ou do not need to rinse beforehand under r unning
w a t e r.
Arrange the crockery so that it is held in place rmly and does not tip over;
and arrange the containers with the openings facing down wards and the
concave/c onvex parts placed obliquely , thus allowing the water to reach
every sur face and ow freely .
W arning: lids, handles, tra ys and fr ying pans should not prevent the
sprayer arms fr om rotating.
Place any small it ems in the cutler y basket.
V er y soiled dishes and pans should be placed in the lower basket because
in this sector the water sprays ar e stronger and allow a higher washing
per formance .
After loading the appliance, make sur e that the sprayer arms can rotate
freely .
UNSUIT ABLE CROCKERY
• W ooden crocker y and cutlery.
• Delicately decorated glasses , ar tistic handicrafts and antique crockery.
Their decorations ar e not resistant.
• P arts in synthetic material which do not withstand high temperatures.
• Copper and tin crockery .
• Crockery soiled with ash, wax, lubricating grease or ink.
The colours of glass decora tions and aluminium/silver pieces can change
and fade during the washing process. Some types of glass (e.g . cr ystal
objects) can become opaque after a number of wash cycles too.
DAMA GE T O GLASS AND CROCKERY
• Only use glasses and porcelain guarant eed by the manufacturer as
dishwasher saf e.
• Use a delicate deter gent suitable for crockery
• Collect glasses and cutlery from the dishwasher as soon as the wash
cycle is over .
TIPS ON ENERGY SA VING
• When the household dishwasher is used ac cording to the manufactur-
er ’ s instruc tions, washing tablewar e in a dishwasher usually con-
sumes less energy and wat er than hand dishwashing.
• In order to maximize dishw asher ecienc y , it is recommended to
initiate the wash cycle onc e the dishwasher is fully loaded. Loading
the household dishwasher up to the capacity indicated b y the manu-
facturer will contribute to energy and wa ter savings. Information on the
correct loading of tableware can be found in the L oading chapter .
In case of par tial loading, it is rec ommended to use a dedicated wash op-
tions if available (Half load/ Zone W ash/ Multizone), lling up only select-
ed racks. Incorrect loading or overloading of the dish washer may increase
resources usage (such as w ater , energy and time, as w ell as increase noise
level), reducing cleaning and drying per formance.
• Manual pre-r insing of tableware items leads t o increased water and
energy consumption and is not rec ommended.
HY GIENE
T o a void odour and sediment which can be accumulated in the dish washer
please run a high-temperatur e program at least once a month. U se a
teaspoon of detergent and run it without loading t o clean your appliance.
RESIST ANCE TO FROST
If the appliance is placed in surroundings exposed to the risk of frost, it
must be drained completely . T urn o the water tap , remove the inlet and
outlet hoses, and let all the water dr ain away . Make sure that the w ater
softener is full of dissolved regenera tion salt in the salt container, to
protect the appliance from temper atures of up to -20°C.
If the appliance was stored in frost c onditions the appliance must remain at
an ambient temperatur e of min. 5°C for at least 24 hours before the rst run.

RINSE AID indicator light will not be lit if you run out of rinse aid .
A maximum of 6 levels can be set acc ording to the dishwasher model .
• If you see bluish streaks on the dishes, set a lo w number (0-3).
• If there are drops of wa ter or limescale marks on the dishes, set
a mid-range number (4-5).
FILLING THE DETERGENT DISPENSER
T o open the detergent dispenser use the opening device C. Introduce
the detergent int o the dr y dispenser D only . Place the amount of
detergent f or pre -washing directly inside the tub.

it up until the closing device is secured in place .
The detergent dispenser aut omatically opens up at the right time accord-

Usage of detergen t not designed for dishwashers ma y cause malfunc-
tion or damage to the appliance .
