ADVICE AND TIPS
TIPS
Before loading the baskets , remove all f ood residues from the crockery
and
empty the glasses. Y ou do not need to rinse beforehand under running
w a t e r.
Arrange the crockery so that it is held in place rmly and does not tip over;
and arrange the containers with the openings facing down wards and the
concave/c onvex parts placed obliquely , thus allowing the water to r each
every sur face and ow freely .
W arning: lids, handles, tr ays and frying pans should not prevent the
sprayer arms fr om rotating.
Place any small it ems in the cutler y basket.
V er y soiled dishes and pans should be placed in the low er basket because
in this sector the water sprays ar e stronger and allow a higher washing
per formance .
After loading the appliance, make sur e that the sprayer arms can rotat e
freely .
UNSUIT ABLE CROCKERY
• W ooden crockery and cutler y .
• Delicately decorated glasses , artistic handicraf ts and antique crockery .
Their decorations ar e not resistant.
• Parts in synthetic material which do not withstand high temperatur es.
• Copper and tin crockery .
• Crockery soiled with ash, wax, lubricating grease or ink.
The colours of glass decora tions and aluminium/silver pieces can change
and fade during the washing process. Some types of glass (e.g . crystal
objects) can become opaque after a number of wash cycles too.
DAMA GE T O GLASS AND CROCKERY
• Only use glasses and porcelain guarant eed by the manufacturer as
dishwasher saf e.
• Use a delicate deter gent suitable for crockery
• Collect glasses and cutlery from the dishwasher as soon as the wash
cycle is over .
TIPS ON ENERGY SA VING
• When the household dishwasher is used ac cording to the manufactur-
er ’ s instructions, washing tablew are in a dishwasher usually c on-
sumes less energy and wat er than hand dishwashing .
• In order to maximize dishw asher ecienc y , it is recommended to
initiate the wash cycle onc e the dishwasher is fully loaded. L oading
the household dishwasher up to the capacity indicated b y the manu-
facturer will contribute to energy and wa ter savings. Information on the
correct loading of tableware can be found in the L oading chapter .
In case of par tial loading, it is r ecommended to use a dedicated wash op-
tions if available (Half load/ Zone Wash/ Multizone), lling up only select-
ed racks. Incorrect loading or overloading of the dish washer may increase
resources usage (such as w ater , energy and time, as well as increase noise
level), reducing cleaning and drying per formance .
• Manual pre-r insing of tableware it ems leads to increased water and
energy consumption and is not rec ommended.
HY GIENE
T o avoid odour and sediment which can be accumula ted in the dishwasher
please run a high-temperatur e program at least once a mon th. Use a
teaspoon of detergent and run it without loading t o clean your appliance.
RESIST ANCE T O FROST
If the appliance is placed in surroundings exposed to the risk of frost, it
must be drained completely . T ur n o the water tap , remove the inlet and
outlet hoses, and let all the water dr ain away . Make sure that the water
softener is full of dissolved regenera tion salt in the salt container, to
protect the appliance from temper atures of up to -20°C.
If the appliance was stored in frost c onditions the appliance must remain at
an ambient temperatur e of min. 5°C for at least 24 hours befor e the rst run.
