Notes:

• You can use liquid detergent in the “Prewash”

phase for programmes with this option. In this

case use only powder detergents for the main

wash.

• When using concentrated fabric softeners, add

water in the detergent dispenser up to “MAX”

level mark.

• To prevent dispensing problems when using

highly concentrated powder and liquid

detergents, use the special detergent ball

supplied with the detergent and place it inside

the drum.

Dyeing: Usual products consist of dye colour,

fixing agent and salt. Pour the dye colour, the

fixing agent and then the salt directly into the

empty drum. Fill in the laundry only afterwards.

• Use exclusively dyes and bleaches

recommended for washing machines.

• Follow the Manufacturer’s instructions.

• Plastic and rubber parts of the machine may

be stained by dyes or bleaches.

1. Plug in the appliance.

2. Turn on the water supply tap.

3. Set Programme Selector knob to the

desired programme.

4. Set the Temperature knob to the desidered

temperature.

5. Select additional options, if desired,

pressing the corresponding button.

By a further pressing of the button this

option can be turned off again.

“Spin speed reduction” button

• Press this button to reduce the

predetermined automatic maximum spin

speed. In some programmes the maximum

final spin speed is limited to go easy on your

laundry items. Selection of a higher spin

speed is not possible.

No spin cycle is run during the “Handwash”

programme.

“Rinse hold / Spin delay” button

• The laundry remains in the last rinse water

without being spun, to avoid heavy creasing.

• Especially suitable for the “Synthetic” or

“Delicate” programmes, if the laundry is not to

be unloaded immediately after the end of the

programme. This function is particularly useful

if you want to postpone spinning to a later time

or when you do not wish to spin the clothes.

Stopping “Rinse hold”:

Press the Rinse hold button again; the load will

be spun according to the selected programme.

If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off

the appliance, turn the programme knob to the

corresponding drain programme and switch it on

again.

“Easy Ironing”

• Can be used together with Cotton and

Synthetic programmes to make ironing easier.

• Increases the water quantity and the clothes

are spun very soft.

“Energy save / Eco” button

• Increases the programme time and reduces

the temperature. This reduces energy

consumption by about 30% without

compromising the excellent results of the wash.

“Quick wash / Rapid” button

• Select for quick, economical washes.

• Especially suitable for small, lightly soiled loads.

Note: If “Quick wash” is selected, only the “Rinse

Hold” and “Spin speed reduction” options can be

activated.

“Lightly Soiled / Half load” button

• Reduces water consumption, above all

during the rinse.

• Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small

loads (reduce the detergent quantity).

“Intensive Rinse” button

• Increases the rinsing time and water quantity,

for an even more thorough rinse.

• The intensive rinse function is especially suitable

for areas with particularly soft water, for baby

clothes and to help people with allergies.

6. Press the “On/Off” button.

The indicator light will come on.

During the selected washing programme the

programme selector knob moves by steps

clockwise through the phases prewash, main

wash, rinse and spin (shown in grey sections

around the knob). Each step takes from some

seconds to several minutes.
