BEKO UK AND ROI STANDARD MANUFACTURER GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your new Beko product is g uaranteed against faulty materials, defective components or manufacturin g defects.

The standard guarantee starts from the date of original purchase of the product and lasts for a period of twelve (12)

months unless Beko plc (the “Manufacturer”) agrees to extend the guarantee for the product in writing.

If you have purchased an American style Fridge freezer, the standard guarantee starts from the date of original

purchase of the product, and lasts for a period of twenty four (24) months unless Beko plc (the “Manufacturer”)

agrees to extend the guarantee for the product in writing.

If you have any question s about the guaran tee on your product (including how lo ng it is valid), please contact yo ur retailer or

Th is guarantee does not in any way diminish or affect your statutory rights in connection with the product. This guarantee is in

additio n to your statutory rights as a co n sumer. If you have any questio ns abo ut th ese righ ts, please co n tact the retailer from

which you purchased the product. In certain circumstances, it is possible that your statutory rights may offer additional or

higher levels of pro tection than those offered under the terms of this guarantee.

What is covered by this guarantee?

•Repairs to the p roduct req uired as a result of faulty materials, defective co mp onents or manufacturing d efects.

•Fun ctional replacemen t p arts to rep air a p roduct.

•The costs of a Beko plc Authorised Service Represen tative or Approved Engineer (together the “Service

Representatives”) to carry out the repair.

What is not covered?

•Tran sit and delivery damag e.

•Cabin et or appearance parts, in cluding but not limited to control kn obs, flaps and handles.

•Accessories an d /o r co nsumable items including but n ot limited to ice trays, scrap ers, cutlery baskets, filters and light

bulbs.

•Repairs n ecessary as a d irect or indirect result o f:

- Accidental damage, misuse or abuse of a pro d uct.

- An attempted repair of a product by anyone other than a Service Representative.

- Installation or use of a product where such in stallation o r use fails to meet the req uiremen ts contained in this

guaran tee o r th e User Instructions Booklet.

•Repairs to a product operated at any time on commercial or non-residential household premises (un less we h ave

previously agreed to the installation environmen t).

Th is guarantee is limited to the cost o f repairing the pro duct. To th e extent permitted by law, the Man ufacturer d oes not accept

and will not be held liable for an y financial loss incurred in connection with th e failure of any pro d uct to operate in accordance

with th e exp ected standard s. Such financial loss includes but is not limited to loss arising from:

•Time taken off wo rk.

•Damaged food, clothing or other items.

•Meals taken at restaurants or from takeaways.

•General compensatio n fo r inconvenience.

Important Notes

1. Your product is designed and built fo r domestic household use only.

2. Th e guarantee will auto matically be void if th e product is installed or is used in co mmercial or non-residential

domestic h ouseh old p remises, unless we have previously agreed to the installation en vironment.

3. Th e product must be co rrectly installed, located and operated in accordance with the instructions contained in th e

User Instructions Boo klet provided with yo ur p roduct.

4. Professional installation by a qualified electrical do mes tic appliance installer is recommen ded for all Washing

Machines, Dish washers and Electric Co okers (as incorrect in stallation may result in you havin g to pay fo r th e co st of

repairing the product).

5. Gas Co okers must be pro fessionally in stalled by a Gas Safe (or Gas Networks Ireland for Republic o f Ireland)

registered gas in staller.

6. This guarantee is given in respect of products purchased and used within the United Kingdom and the Republic of

Ireland.

7. Th is guarantee is effective fro m the initial date of purchase of a new product from an authorised retailer an d will be

void if the product is resold.

8. This guarantee does not apply to graded sales (where the product is purchased as a “second”).

9. Possession of a copy of these terms and conditions does not necessarily mean that a product has the benefit of this

guaran tee. If you have any questio ns, p lease call our Customer Service Team on the number set out above.

10. Th e Man ufacturer reserves the right to termin ate the guaran tee if its staff or representatives are subjected to p h ysical

or verbal abuse in the co urse o f carrying out their duties.

11. Optional extras, wh ere available (i.e. extendable feet) are supplied o n a ch arg eable basis o nly.
