Instructions for Use
Ensure that the Steam Station is unplugged from the mains power supply.
Remove the water tank from the Steam Station main body by grasping the water fill entrance
and gently but firmly pulling it out. Fill the water tank with tap water up to the Max. level marked
on the front of the tank. Once full, replace the water tank back onto the Steam Station main
body until it clicks into position.
Connect the Steam Station to the mains power supply.
To begin using the Steam Station, press the ‘On/Off’ switch. The power indicator light will flash
to indicate that the boiler is heating up.
Select the temperature of the Steam Station by turning the temperature control dial on the iron
to the desired heat setting.
When the Steam Station has reached the correct temperature, the power indicator light will
stop flashing and will remain lit; when the heat ready indicator light turns off, the Steam Station is
ready for use.
If the low water level indicator light flashes and an audible noise is emitted, the water level in the
tank is too low and the water tank will need refilling according to the instructions provided.
Note: It is possible to fill the water tank whilst it is still attached to the Steam Station main unit
by directly pouring water into the water fill entrance.
Note: This Steam Station is designed for use with tap water. If the water in your area is
particularly hard, please use demineralised water to protect the internal parts of the Steam
Station from limescale build-up.
Note: If the temperature required for a particular garment is not specified, it is recommended
to iron at the lowest heat setting and then increase if necessary, in order to avoid damage to
the material.
Tip: Before use, separate the clothes to be ironed by ironing temperature, starting at the coolest
setting, as the iron will heat up faster than it will cool down.
Steam Ironing
When steam ironing for the first time, it is recommended to iron a plain cloth to test that the
iron is working at the correct temperature.
To use the steam setting, press the trigger/steam button on the underside of the iron handle.
This will provide steam up until the button is released. The continuous steam jet button can be
locked down in order to provide continuous steam by sliding the steam button lock towards the
rear of the iron.
Vertical Steam Ironing
Vertical steam ironing is especially useful when removing creases from hanging fabrics, such as
curtains, wall hangings and certain clothes.
To use the vertical steam function, hold the iron approximately 1–2 cm away from the fabric to
be steamed, and then press and hold the steam button on the underside of the iron handle and
direct the iron soleplate at the area to be steamed.
