Turning on the “rear burner”:
• Simultaneously press the SET-button and
(large
fl ame) to turn the “rear burner” ON.
The AUX-symbol on the hand-held transmitter’s
display is visible.
Notes:
1 The “rear burner” always remains in the last switching position chosen,
as long as the appliance is not completely turned off (burner and pilot light OFF).
2 Turning the “rear burner” on and off is blocked in the Timer and Off function, if the
night temperature setting is reduced to
.
3 If the receiver’s batteries are depleted the “rear burner” remains in the last chosen
setting; IN or OUT. During normal use the “rear burner” will be automatically turned
ON if the appliance is turned off before starting. For this press the OFF-button.
Switching off the appliance
• Press the
(small fl ame) button to lower the fl ames
or to switch off the main burner.
• Then press the OFF button to switch off the appliance,
including the pilot light.
• If the appliance is not to be used for some time,
please close the gas supply valve in the gas pipe.
Important: If the pilot fl ame goes out for any reason,
wait for 5 minutes before attempting to
re-light it.
