Approved cars for iZi Modular i-Size base

provided that the car is equipped with ISOﬁx

The iZi Modular i-Size base is an universal i-Size

child restraint system. It is approved to regulation

R129 to use in all vehicle positions marked with the

i-Size logo. The iZi Modular i-Size base is also suitable

for ﬁxing into the seat positions of the cars listed

below, providing approved ISOﬁx points are ﬁtted

and available. Seat positions in other cars may also be suitable to

accept this child restraint, however we have not yet tested that

It will ﬁt vehicles with positions approved as ISOﬁx positions (as

detailed in the vehicle handbook), depending on category of the

child and of the ﬁxture. The mass group and the ISOﬁx size class for

which this device is intended is : D.

When the support leg is positioned on a storage compartment in

front of the car seat, this compartment has to be completely ﬁlled

up with Expanded Poly Styreen foam (EPS), so that the cover can

hold the forces of the support leg. Consult the car dealer, if they

oer a special solution. When the ﬂoor under the ﬂoor support is

unsucient to hold the forces you can not use the iZi Modular i-Size

base in this position of the car.

Carseat positions marked with * can have a storage compartment in

front of the seat. ISOﬁx anchorage in the passenger seat (position

1) are normally oered as option, so depending on the model this

position can be availble or not.

Installation in the rear seat of a car can limit the space for a

passenger in the front seat. Always check iZi Modular i-Size base

in your car to verify if the available space is acceptable for your

situation.
