WARNING: Risk of fire

There is a risk of fire if the device is used improperly or these instructions for use are ignored.

Therefore, observe the following instructions for use:

•Alwayssupervisethedevicewhenitisinuse,especiallyiftherearechildrennearby.

•Neverusethedeviceunderneathacover,suchasblanket,pillow,etc.

•Neverusethedevicenearpetrolorotherhighlyflammablesubstances.

Note: Disposal

Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the unit in accordance with

ECDirective 2002/96/EC – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any

questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.

Remove the battery before disposing of the device at an official recycling point. Before removing the

battery, disconnect the device from the charger and wait until the motor comes to a complete stop.

Remove the front cover using a screwdriver and loosen the screws underneath. Finally, disconnect

the battery. Dispose of the used battery at a collection point.

•Removethepackaging.

•Checkthedevice,mainsplugandcablefordamage.

•Connectthedevicetothemains.Whendoingso,thedevicemustbeswitchedoff.

•Ensurethatthecabledoesnotposeatriphazard.

•Chargethedevicefor2hoursbeforethefirstuse.Ifthebatterylevelindicatorflashesslowlythismeans

that the battery is charging. Once the display is permanently illuminated, the device is fully charged.

Then you can begin using the device either on battery power or using the mains cable.

•Ifthebatterylevelindicatorflashesrapidlyduringbatteryoperation,thebatteryisempty.Chargethe

device by placing it on the charger or connecting it to the mains adapter.

•Onechargeissufficientforapprox.30minutesofcordlessoperation.Afterthatyoucancontinuetouse

the device via mains operation.
