Changing

You can change the heating function and temperature

at any time.

Note: If you change the heating function when the oven

is in operation, the oven will stop heating.

Pausing the operation

Touch the t sensor. The oven is paused. The display

above the t sensor flashes. Touch the t sensor again

to end the pause.

Cancelling the operation

Press and hold the t sensor the symbol for the type of

heating and the selected temperature are displayed. A

type of heating and temperature can now be set again.

Rapid heating

With Rapid heating, you can shorten the heat-up time.

Suitable heating functions include:

■ 9 3D hot air

■ B Top/bottom heating

■ N Intensive heat

Only use rapid heat-up when a temperature of over

100 °C has been selected.

To achieve an even cooking result, do not place your

food into the cooking compartment until rapid heat-up is

complete.

1. Select a type of heating and temperature.

2. Touch the D sensor. The V symbol lights up in the

display panel.

3. Touch the t sensor.

The oven starts heating after a few seconds.

Once rapid heat-up is complete, an audible signal

sounds and the V symbol goes out. Place your food in

the cooking compartment.

OTime-setting options

Your appliance has different time-setting options.

To navigate to the cooking time, select a type of heating

and touch the r sensor. Once you have set the

cooking time, you can set the end time.

An audible signal sounds once the cooking time or

timer duration has elapsed. The signal can be ended

early by touching the r symbol.

Setting the cooking time

You can set the cooking time for your food on the oven.

This prevents the food from accidentally being cooked

for too long, and means that you do not have to stop

what you are doing to switch off the oven.

The maximum time that can be set is 23 hours 59

minutes. The cooking time can be set in 1-minute

increments up to 1 hour, and in 5-minute increments

thereafter.

The cooking time will start at a different default value

depending on which button you touch first:

10 minutes with the A button and 30 minutes with the

@ button.

Example in the diagram: Cooking time of 45 minutes.

1. Set the heating function and temperature or grill

setting.

2. Touch the r sensor twice.

A A : A A and the x symbol appear in the display

panel.

Time-setting option Use

x Cooking time Once the set cooking time has elapsed, the

oven automatically switches off.

y End time Select a cooking time and the end time you

require. The appliance starts up automatically

so that it finishes cooking at the required time.

Q Timer The timer functions like an egg timer. It func-

tions independently of the oven.

r Time If no other function has been selected, the

time of day appears in the oven's display

panel.
