Bosch Power Tools 1 609 92A 3Y5 | (25.4.18)
Technical Data
Noise/Vibration Information
Sound emission values determined according to
EN 62841-2-11.
Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the product are:
Sound pressure level 75 dB(A); Sound power level 86 dB(A).
Uncertainty K =3 dB.
Wear hearing protection!
Vibration total values a
h
(triax vector sum) and uncertainty K
determined according to EN 62841-2-11:
Cutting board with NanoBlade Wood Speed 65 mm:

.
The vibration level given in this information sheet has been
measured in accordance with a standardised test given in
EN 62841 and may be used to compare one tool with another.
It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the main appli-
cations of the tool. However, if the tool is used for different appli-
cations, with different accessories or insertion tools or is poorly
maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This may signifi-
cantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also
take into account the times when the tool is switched off or
when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may signifi-
cantly reduce the exposure level over the total working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from
the effects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and the acces-
sories, keep the hands warm, organise work patterns.
Assembly
Before any work on the machine itself (e. g. mainte-
nance, tool change, etc.), remove the battery from the
power tool. There is danger of injury when unintentionally
actuating the On/Off switch.
Battery Charging
Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Only
these chargers are matched to the lithium-ion battery of
your power tool.
Note: The battery supplied is partially charged. To ensure full
capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the
battery charger before using your power tool for the first time.
The lithium-ion battery can be charged at any time without
reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure
does not damage the battery.
Inserting/Removing the Battery
(see figure A)
Insert the battery into the machine as shown. The battery
must be felt to engage.
To remove the battery 6, press the unlocking buttons 5 and
pull the battery out of the machine to the rear. Do not exert
any force.
Inserting/Replacing the Saw Blade
When changing the saw blade, do not hold the tool with
one hand on or around the On/Off switch and lock off.
There is danger of injury when the On/Off switch is unin-
tentionally actuated.
When mounting or changing the saw blade, wear pro-
tective gloves. Application tools are sharp and can be-
come hot when used for prolonged periods of time.
Do not pull on the chain and do not pull the chain off the
guide unit!
Always replace a complete saw blade with a complete
saw blade! The chain cannot be replaced on its own.
Selecting a Saw Blade
Use only clean saw blades. Ensure that the SDS saw
blade holder is also free of chips and sawdust.
Use only saw blades suitable for the material being worked.
The saw blade should not be longer than required for the in-
tended cut.
Avoid skin contact when you want to replace a saw
blade and wear protective gloves. The saw blade can be-
come hot during prolonged use.
