Fill the unit with tap water only.
Never mix combustible, poisonous, caustic or
other liquids (e.g. cleaning agent) with the filling.
Filling with Water
☞ When filling, take care that the grid over the
rubber surge protector 3 is not pressed in by
the filling container.
Refilling with Water
Take care when loosening the
tank cap.
Danger of scalding!
Procedure:
Switch off the unit.
Pull the mains plug.
Wait at least one minute.
Only then open the tank:
– Turn the tank cap lightly counter clockwise to the
first stop (position 2.).
– Allow steam to escape until no more steam is
emitted.
Press down tank cap.
– Continue to turn counter clockwise to position 3.
and remove.
Fill with water to the maximum
marking on the water level indi-
cator 2. If the unit is filled with
warm water, the heating time is
shortened.
Close the tank securely after filling:
Place on the tank cap (position 3.), press down and
tighten clockwise to the stop.
A correctly close tank cap is shown in the following il-
lustration position 1.).
When working for longer periods:
Pay attention to the minimum marking on the water
level indicator 2 and refill with water in time.
