1. Please read thr ough the following safety precautions
carefully befor e switching on the Hand Blender .
2. Keep this instruction manual in a safe place for futur e
refer ence. K eep the sales receipt and, if possible, the
gift box with the inner packaging.
3. Failur e to follow all the instructions listed may r esult in
electric shock, fire or serious personal injury .
4. Before plugging the Hand Blender into the mains
electrical supply, check that the voltage and power
supply comply with the specifications indicated on the
rating plate of the appliance.
5. Do not plug the appliance into the power supply
until it is fully assembled and always unplug before
disassembling the appliance or handling the blade.
6. The Hand Blender is not intended for use for by persons
(including children) with r educed physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety .
7. Always place the Hand Blender on a stable, flat, heat-
resistant surface. Ensur e that the surface can take the
weight of the unit during use.
8. The Hand Blender is intended for DOMES TIC USE ONL Y
and should not be used for commercial purposes. The
Hand Blender should only be used for its intended
purpose.
9. Do not use the appliance for longer than 2minutes
continuously .(Blend hard food in 10second intervals.)
10. Always keep the Hand Blender out of r each of children.
Close adult supervision is necessary when Hand Blender
is used by or near children.
11. Do not leave the unit unattended when not in use.
12. Do not move or lift the Hand Blender while it is oper ating
or while it is connected to an electrical socket.
13. The use of attachments, not specifically recommended
by the manufacturer , must not be used as they may
cause personal injury or damage to the appliance.
14. Car e should be taken when handling the sharp cutting
blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
15. Do not oper ate the Hand Blender if the plug or the
power cord has been damaged, if the Hand Blender
is not working properly, or if it has been dr opped or
exposed to water or other liquid.
16. Check the Hand Blender power cord car efully r egularly
for damage. If the power cord is damaged in any way,
it must be replaced by the manufactur er or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid an
electrical hazard.
17. Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp table
edges or come into contact with hot surfaces.
18. Make sur e that the Hand Blender is switched off and
remove the plug fr om the mains electrical supply when
it is not in use, before it is cleaned, befor e changing
accessories or moving parts and while it is being
repair ed.
19. T o prevent the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse
the power cord, plug, or any nonr emovable parts of this
Hand Blender in water or any other liquid.
20. The Hand Blender base must not be submerged in
water , as any contact with the electrical par ts will cause
a malfunction and/or an electric shock. Do not use the
appliance with wet hands.
21. Do not use the Hand Blender outdoors.
22. Always switch the power OFF before r emoving the plug
from the wall socket.
23. T o unplug the appliance, gr asp the plug firmly and
remove it fr om the mains electrical supply . DO NO T
PULL ON THE CORD .
24. Never use the Hand Blender if it is damaged in any way .
25. All repairs must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Improper r epairs may place the user at risk.
26. When handing this product over to a thir d party,
ensure that this instruction manual is supplied with the
appliance.

USING THE HAND BLENDER
The Hand Blender is perfect for:
• Mixing milkshakes, preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food.
• When blending food in a saucepan, remove the pan from the heat sour ce and allow the mixture
to cool slightly before blending.
• The Hand Blender can also be used to crush ice.
1. Fit the blender stick onto the motor unit until it locks into position.
2. Plug the Hand Blender into the mains electrical supply .
3. Use a suitably sized bowl or jug when operating the Hand Blender so that the mixtur e does not
spill out of the container during the blending process.
4. Do not use the Hand Blender for longer than 2 minutes continuously . (Blend hard food in
10second intervals.)
CAUTION: The blade is very sharp!
CAUTION: Do not blend food without liquid in the blending bowl or jug.
HOW TO USE THE CHOPPER
1. The Chopper is suitable for chopping hard food such as meat, hard cheeses, onions, herbs,
garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes etc.
2. Do not chop extremely har d food such as nutmeg, coffee beans and grains.
3. Do not chop ice cubes.
BEFORE CHOPPING
1. Carefully remove the plastic cover fr om the blade.
Caution: The blade is very sharp! Always hold the upper plastic part of the blade unit.
2. Place the blade on the centre pin of the chopper bowl. Pr ess the blade down and lock into the
bowl.
3. Place the food to be chopped in the chopper bowl.
4. Place the lid on top of the chopper bowl.
5. Assemble the motor unit onto the chopping bowl lid until it locks into position.
6. Select the appropriate switch and speed settings requir ed to operate the chopper .
7. During processing, hold the motor unit with one hand and the chopper bowl with the other
hand.
8. After use, release & twist the motor unit and remove it fr om the chopping bowl lid.
9. Carefully remove the blade.
10. Remove the chopped food from the chopper bowl.
11. Chop hard food in 10second intervals.
PROCESSING GUIDE FOR CHOPPING BOWL

HOW TO USE THE WHISK
Use the Whisk for whipping cream, beating eggs and egg whites and mixing sponges and ready-mix
desserts.
1. Insert the Whisk onto the motor unit and turn it until it locks into position.
2. Place the Whisk in the beaker or a suitable bowl and only then start the whisking process.
3. Use the Whisk for no longer than 2minutes continuously .
4. Remove the Whisk after use.
5. Release the Whisk from the motor unit before cleaning.
HOW TO USE THE MILK FR OTHER
1. Attach the Milk Fr other to the motor unit.
2. Place the assembled Milk Frother into the beak er .
3. Do not operate for more than 2minutes continuously .
HOW TO USE THE GRA TER/SLICER
Suitable for grating or slicing a maximum of 500g of food at a time (no meat or dough).
Slicing blade: for slicing potatoes, carrots, cucumbers etc.
Grating blade: for gr ating carrots, hard cheeses, celery etc.
1. Slide the blade “S” blade B onto the blade holder disc. Place onto the spindle in the middle of
the processing jug.
2. Lock the blender cover into position on the pr ocessing jug.
3. Connect the motor unit onto the blender cover and then start operating the appliance.
4. Place the food into the feeder tube and use the food pusher (not fingers) to guide the food into
the processing jug.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wipe the motor unit, chopping bowl lid and blender cover with a damp cloth.
Do not immerse in water!
1. Always switch off the Hand Blender & unplug before cleaning.
2. All other Hand Blender parts can be washed by hand or in the dish washer .
3. Do not use an overdose of cleaner or decalcifier in your dishwasher .
4. When processing coloured food, the plastic parts of the appliance may become discolour ed.
Wipe these parts with vegetable oil before placing the in the dishwasher .
WARRANTY EX CLUSIONS
The warranty will not be valid if:
1. The product has not been installed, operated or maintained in accor dance with the
manufacturers operating instructions pr ovided with the product.
2. The product has been used for any purpose other than its intended function.
3. The damage or malfunction of the product is caused by any of the following:
• Incorrect voltage
• Accidents (including liquid or moisture damage)
• Misuse or abuse of the product
• Faulty or improper installation
• Mains supply problems, including power spikes or lightning damage
• Infestation by insects
• T ampering or modification of the product by persons other than authorized service
personnel
• Exposure to abnormally corrosive materials
• Insertion of foreign objects into the unit
• Used with accessories not pre-approved by Br abantia
