Basic Safety Information
• Children are not aware of the dangers that can
result from the improper use of electrical devices.
Do not allow children to use electrical devices
unattended.
• Choking hazard! Do not leave packaging material
lying around. Children can swallow small parts
and choke.
• Always plug the switchable sockets into
traditional Schuko sockets with an AC voltage of
220 - 240 V and 50 Hz.
• Do not connect the switchable sockets to an
extension cord.
• Always connect the switchable sockets to loads
that are within the listed power limits.
• Do not connect any loads that could cause a fire
(e.g., irons) or other damage if they switch on
unattended.
• Do not connect loads that require a motor
capacitor (e.g., refrigerators).
• Ensure that the outlet is installed close to the
connected product, is easily accessible and that
the product is not operated while covered.
• Check the devices regularly for damage. Do not
replace damaged parts. Contact the manufacturer
or dispose of the devices in an environmentally
safe manner.
• Do not handle the devices with wet hands.
• Disconnect the switchable sockets from the mains
to set them to zero potential.
