of use. WARNING: This car seat is a safe pro-

duct but only if the instrucons in the user

manual are followed correctly.

Dear Customer, thank you for choosing a Brevi

product.

This child car safety seat has been designed

and approved for children from birth to a

weight of 18 kg.

It has a double standard approval

ECE R44/04:

GROUP 0+ (from birth up to 13 kg weight).

WARNING

Do not use the car seat on front passenger se-

ats provided with air bag. If the car is equip-

ped with airbag the child car seat must be

installed in the backseat of the car.

WARNING

- This is a “Universal” child restraint. It is ap-

proved to Regulaon No. 44, 04 series of

amendments, for general use in vehicles

and it will t most, but not all, car seats.

- A correct t is likely if the vehicle manufac-

turer has declared in the vehicle handbo-

ok that the vehicle is capable of accepng

a “Universal” child restraint for this age

group.

- This child restraint has been classied as

“Universal” under more stringent condi-

ons than those which applied to earlier

designs which do not carry this noce.

- If in doubt, consult either the child restraint

manufacturer or the retailer.

WARNING

It’s important to respect the correct steps

when fastening the seat belts. Do not use any

load bearing contact points other than those

described in the instrucons and marked in

the child restraint.

The car seat can be installed on the front pas-

senger seat if it is ed with a 3-point seat

belt (see possible posions on page 2)

It is not possible to install the car seat on a

central front passenger seat.

GROUP 0+

POSITION

When the child weighs less than 9 kg the

child car seat can only be used in the rear-

ward facing posion.

The child car seat must be xed to the car

seat through the three-point safety belt nor-

mally provided in every car.

IMPORTANT!

When the child is in rearward facing posi-

on, use ONLY the adjusng posion n°5.

When the child is in forward facing posion,

use ONLY the adjusng posions from 1 to 4.

To avoid improper use, please adjust the pas-

sage of the lap part of the car seat belt fol-

lowing these instrucons in the right order:

- Place it on the passenger seat rearwards

facing

- Put the lap part (A) of the car seat belt into

the proper seats placed on the base of the

child car seat as shown in pic.3.

- Unroll the car seat belt completely and

place the diagonal part (D) in its housing,

placed on the side of the car seat, as in pic.

4, then behind the back rest of the car seat

- Fasten the car seat belt into its buckle, pic.5

- Push the child car seat against the back rest

of the passenger seat and make sure that

the car seat belt is well ghtened and not

loose, g. 6

- Bolt the belt lock o, pic.7

Only at this stage the child can be placed in

the car seat, following the procedures descri-

bed in the secon “HOW TO FIT YOUR CHILD

INTO THE CHILD CAR SEAT”.

GROUP 1

POSITION

WARNING: Do not use in forward facing po-

sion unl child weighs more than

9 kg.

When your child weighs more than 13 kg, the

child car seat must be used in the forward

facing posion and only on the rear passen-

ger seat.

The car seat must be secured to the seat by

the three-point seat belt provided in each

vehicle.

The abdominal part of the seat belt (A) must

be placed in the back of the car seat base (see

g.8), while the diagonal part (D) will have to

go through the housing located on the side

(see g 9).

Only at this stage the child can be placed in

the car seat, following the procedures descri-

bed in the secon “HOW TO FIT YOUR CHILD

INTO THE CHILD CAR SEAT”.

HOW TO ADJUST THE SEAT IN

DIFFERENT POSITIONS

The seat reclines into 5 dierent posions.

The seat reclines by pressing the lever under

the front part of the child car seat (see g.10).

Adjustment operaons may only be carried

out when the child is not in the product. When

the child car seat is in the posion required,

make sure that the posion-selector locking

pin is inserted in its seat.

IMPORTANT! When the child is in forward

facing posion, use ONLY the adjusng posi-

ons from 1 to 4.

HOW TO FIT YOUR CHILD INTO

THE CHILD CAR SEAT

The tension of the child car seat belts can be

adjusted using the belt locking lever.

Before placing your child in the seat, push on

the “Press” area (there is a lever) and pull both

the shoulder belts (g.11).

Place your child in the car seat, pass the belts
