If you are not connected t o the B T network some of these ser vices may not be
available. Please contact your network provider f or more information on network
ser vices. Y ou may be char ged for the use of these services.
The BT butt on
provides quick access to a r ange of useful pre-stored
numbers and fur ther BT Calling F eatures. Y ou can access the f ollowing ser vices:
BT Diverse Helpline, B T Directory Enquiries, Call Diver t on/off/check and Call W aiting
on/off/check.
Press
. Helpdesk is highlighted. Y ou can now scroll or through the
options available.
When the ser vice you r equire is displayed, press
to call and follow any announcements.
T ext messaging
Befor e sending and receiving text messages you need to register to the text
messaging ser vice and subscribe to Caller Display . Y ou will be automatically
register ed to the text message service when you send your fir st text. See the full

If you have register ed to a base in the B T Diver se 7000 Plus range then all the
following f eatures are available. If you have r egis tered t o another make/type of
handset it is possible that some feat ures, e.g. Caller Display will not work corr ectly .
Set time and date
Providing you have subscribed to your network’ s Caller Display ser vice the date and time
is set automatically when you receive your first call. T o set the date and time manually
follow the pr ocedure below:

Copy entire phonebook to another handset r egistered to a Diverse 7000 Plus base
Press Names . The first entr y is displayed.

to Copy All and press OK .

At the r eceiving handset the display will show Accept entries .
Press Yes to confirm or No t o cancel. When successful the display shows ✓ Finished .
Navigating the menus
Y our BT Diverse 7100 Plus has an easy to use menu system. Each menu has a list of
options, which you can see on the menu map below .
When the handset is switched on and in standby:
Press the right soft key
(Menu ) to open the main menu.
Then use the
