To use Call Divert
With Call Divert, when someone rings, your
Freestyle 320 Plus automatically transfers the
call to a nominated telephone number where
you can be reached.
• To divert all incoming calls to another
number, press the
TALK button.
• Press the NETWORK SERVICES button
until the display shows
DIVERT CALL.
• Press the SELECT button and wait for a
message from the exchange. Follow the
instructions which lets you set the number
to which you want your calls diverted.
• At the end of the message, press the
TALK button again to return to standby
mode. All your incoming calls will now be
diverted to the number you have chosen
until you cancel the instruction.
To cancel Call Divert
To cancel the service, follow the instructions
for setting up (shown above). You will receive
instructions from the exchange on what to do.
When you have finished, press the
TALK
button to return to standby mode.
To use Call Waiting
Whilst engaged on a call, if a second call
arrives, the Call Waiting facility warns you of
the second call and allows you to take it if you
want to without hanging up on the first call.
When the second call arrives, the handset
beeps. If you choose to ignore it, the beep is
repeated every few seconds.
• To answer the second incoming call, tell
your first caller what you are about to do,
then press the
NETWORK SERVICES button
repeatedly until the display shows
CALL WTG.
• To put the first call on hold and engage the
second call, press the
SELECT button.
• To put this call on hold and return to the
first caller, press the
NETWORK SERVICES
button, followed by the SELECT button.
• You can change between the two callers as
many times as you wish. If the call you are
on is terminated, you are not automatically
returned to the other call. The handset will
ring again and you can return to the other
call by pressing the
TALK button.
