Additional Freestyle Plus
Handsets
At the base unit
• Within 2 seconds press and hold down your
Freestyle 320 Plus’s base unit
INTERCOM
button until you hear a continuous beep.
• Release the INTERCOM button on the base
unit, both the additional handset and your
Freestyle base unit will sound a confirmation
beep. If you do not hear a beep from both
units, then programming was unsuccessful.
Wait 10 seconds, then repeat the procedure.
To check that your additional handset is
registered correctly
• Lift the additional handset.
• Press the TALK button.
• Listen for the dial tone.
Be sure to press and hold the INTERCOM button
on your Freestyle 320 Plus’s base unit and not the
additional handset.
Check additional handsets are registered within
range of your Freestyle 320 Plus base unit.
If you do not hear a dial tone, your additional
handset is either out of range of your Freestyle
320 Plus, it has not been registered properly or
you may have purchased the wrong handset -
check that the handset you have is item code:
871156. This can be found on the side of your
giftbox.
Re-register your additional handset by
repeating the procedure on page 25.
Basic use of Freestyle Plus
Additional Handsets
With the exception of the functions listed below,
basic operation of additional handsets is the
same as that of your Freestyle 320 Plus handset.
To make and receive calls
• When making calls the IN USE light on the
additional handset will come on.
• To enter a recall when dialling a number,
press the
RECALL button.
• When you receive an incoming call both your
Freestyle 320 Plus and additional handset
will ring and the
IN USE light will flash.
• To answer a call pick up the additional
handset and press the
TALK button.
