Lift the handset from the base or charger t o answer incoming calls. If the handset is

Handsfree
Press
during a call to switch the call between the earpiece and the loudspeak er .
Secrecy
Press the
soft key during a call to activate secrecy mode, if you want t o prevent the
caller hearing any thing from your end.

soft key again to resume your call.
Redial (up t o las t 10 numbers called)

Adjust the earpiece volume

Problem Solution
No dial tone Only use the cables and batteries supplied.
Make sur e both the mains power adaptor cable and
telephone line cord ar e plugged into the correct sockets.
Poor speech quality Make sur e the product is not located too close to other
electrical appliances. This can also help improve the
handset range fr om the base.
Battery icon flashing
and scr olling digits
The battery charge is ver y low . Make sure you char ge the
batteries for 24 hours bef ore use to ensure maximum
battery per formance.
Using br oadband on the same
phone line?
Make sur e you plug the phone
into the wall socket via an ADSL
microfilter (not supplied), otherwise
you may have problems with this
product and your br oadband ser vice.
