5.3.5 Preparing the RockShox Reverb AXS seat post

Only applies to pedelecs with this equipment

5.3.5.1 Recharging the SRAM battery

1Remove battery cover from battery.

2Do not dispose of battery cover. Attach the

battery cover to the SRAM battery to protect

the battery contacts when the battery is not in

the charger or in the seat post.

3You will find instructions on charging,

maintaining and transporting in the SRAM

operating instructions for the battery and

charger at

www.sram.com/service.

5.3.5.2 Inserting the SRAM battery

1Insert fully charged battery into the seat post.

If the battery is properly inserted, the locking

mechanism will engage.

2Close battery compartment.

5.3.5.3 Pairing the system

All AXS systems have a master component which

is used to start and end the pairing session. The

RockShox AXS controller must be paired with the

seat post master component before use. Pairing

allows the RockShox AXS controller to transmit

actuation commands to the seat post.

Additional AXS systems can be combined to

create one AXS system. To combine AXS

systems, begin pairing with any one of the master

components.

The pairing process does not need to be repeated

when either battery is removed and/or replaced.

The pairing process must be repeated if any

components are replaced, added, or removed.

1Keep AXS button on the seat post held down.

The green LED will flash slowly.

2Release button.

The pairing session is ended automatically

after 30 seconds of inactivity.

3Keep AXS button on the remote control held

down.

The green LED will flash quickly.

4Release button.

5Press rocker switch on the controls.

Pairing is confirmed.

The green LED on the seat post will light up

continuously.

You will hear the motor.

6If the seat post does not respond, repeat

pairing process.

5.3.5.4 Ending pairing

1Keep AXS button on the seat post held down.

2Release to end pairing.

The green LED will stop flashing.
