■Do not sit or stand on the unit.

Falling down from the unit or toppling may

cause injury or malfunction.

■Do not ﬁ ll the water tank with water other

than tap water, water that has been ﬁ ltered

by a water puriﬁ er, or soft water.

and bacteria, which makes it suitable for use

with a humidiﬁ er. The water unit must not

be ﬁ lled with: puriﬁ ed water, distilled water,

alkaline ionized water, mineral water, well water,

contaminated water, hot water at temperatures

of 40°C or higher, chemical products, fragrances,

detergents, or water that contains aromatic oil.

■Do not use the unit for a long period of time

without replacing the ﬁ lter cartridge.

Once the effectiveness of the ﬁ lter cartridge

expires, some white powder may be generated

which will attach to surrounding areas.

■Do not use a ﬁ lter cartridge that has been left

neglected for a long period of time.

The internal coloring components may seep out

and brown liquid may accumulate inside the

tank component. Repeatedly drain the water

in the tank until the water becomes clear or

replace the ﬁ lter cartridge with a new one.

■Do not use the unit in a location with strong

magnetism, such as near an induction cooker

or a speaker.

The unit may not operate properly due to the

effects of the magnetism.

■Do not use the unit with the tank or duct

removed.

Water may spout out and cause damage by

wetting the surrounding area.

■Be aware of freezing.

Drain the water from the base unit if there is a

risk of freezing.

■Do not tilt the base unit.

Tilting the base unit while water is in the tank

can cause the water to spill.

■Do not turn the base unit upside down.

Components such as the duct, tank, or top

panel may fall and can cause unexpected injury.

■Do not repeat unnecessary installation or

removal of the tank once it is installed on the

base unit.

Doing so may cause water to overﬂ ow.

■Do not place the unit in direct sunlight or

directly in the path of the air conditioner or

heater’s airﬂ ow.

It may cause deformation, discoloration, or

malfunction of the unit.
