pleasure from it. Like all Cambridge Audio pr oducts Minx Air adheres to our three
core principles – stunning performance, ease of use and incredible value.
The Minx Air 100 and Air 200 can wirelessly access a wide range of audio fr om
most phones, tablets or PCs.
Apple Airplay allo ws content from iP ads, iPhones, iPod touch and an y PC/Mac
running iT unes to be simply sent to the Minx Air .
Airplay not only allows playback fr om the native music pla yback features of those
devices but also fr om any streaming service Apps that you hav e downloaded to
them.
Y ou can simply download and use music Apps such as Spotify , Napster , Pandora,
Rhapsody or others and direct playback t o your Minx Air for the best possible sound
quality .
For compatibility with Andr oid phones and tablets and a wide range of other
devices, Minx Air also f eatures compatibility with Bluetoo th audio.
Any phone, tablet, lapt op or PC with Bluetooth audio can pla y back its content via
Bluetooth on the Minx Air . A gain this includes any streaming services or other Apps
you ma y wish to download.
In addition the Minx Air units feature our curat ed Internet Radio service which
brings the best stations to you which ha ve been checked by us f or reliability and
sound quality .
Over 20,000 stations are currently a vailable with more being added each day .
These can be browsed and set via our free Apps for both Andr oid and Apple (iOS)
devices. These Apps also allow contr ol of the Minx Air for volume, bass , treble and
other features and hav e built in guides to ease the process of rst setup of the
product on your ne twork.
Internet radio presets can also be recalled from the buttons on the t op of the Minx
Air or remote contr ol without needing to use the App.
High quality components are used thr oughout with both models featuring the lat est
in Digital Signal Processing including a 2 4-bit DSP running algorithms developed
for us b y Wa ves Audio, recipient of a 20 11 T echnical GRAMMY® award.
Patent ed BMR (Balanced Mode Radiator) speaker drivers deliver a wider , more
room-lling sound than similar -sized traditional speakers.
The Minx Air 100 f eatures two BMRs and 100 watts of output po wer . The Minx Air
200 features tw o BMRs plus a Subwoof er and 200watts of output pow er .
Both models also f eature an environmentally friendly lo w power (<0.5w) standb y
circuit and an Aut o Pow er Down f eature.

Cambridge Audio warrants this pr oduct to be free fr om defects in materials and
workmanship (subject to the terms set forth below). Cambridge Audio will repair
or replace (at Cambridge Audio’s option) this pr oduct or any def ective parts in this
product. W arranty periods may vary from country to country. If in doubt consult y our
dealer and ensure that you retain pr oof of purchase.
T o obtain warranty service, please contact the Cambridge Audio authorised dealer
from which you pur chased this product. If y our dealer is not equipped to perform
the repair of your Cambridge Audio pr oduct, it can be returned by your dealer to
Cambridge Audio or an authorised Cambridge Audio service agent. Y ou will need
to ship this product in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal
degree of prot ection.
Proof of pur chase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted in voice, which is evidence
that this product is within the warranty period, must be presented to obtain
warranty service.
This warranty is inv alid if (a) the factory-applied serial number has been altered or
removed fr om this product or (b) this product was not pur chased from a Cambridge
Audio authorised dealer . Y ou may call Cambridge A udio or your local country
Cambridge Audio distributor to conrm that you have an unaltered serial number
and/or you made a purchase fr om a Cambridge Audio authorised dealer .
This warranty does not co ver cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God,
accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, or modication of, or to
any part of, the product. This warranty does no t cover damage due t o improper
operation, maintenance or installation, or att empted repair b y anyone other than
Cambridge Audio or a Cambridge A udio dealer , or authorised service agent which

Plug-tting Instructions (UK only)
The cord supplied with this appliance is factory -tted with a UK mains plug tted
with a 3-amp fuse inside. If it is necessary to change the fuse, it is important that a
3-amp fuse is used. If the plug needs to be changed because it is not suitable
for y our socket, or becomes damaged, it should be cut off and an appropriat e
plug tted follo wing the wiring instructions below. The plug must then be disposed
of safely , as insertion into a mains socket is likely to cause an electrical hazard.
Should it be necessary to t a 3-pin BS mains plug to the power cord, the wires
should be tted as shown in this diagram. The colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying
the terminals in your plug. Connect them as f ollows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the t erminal which is marked with
the letter ‘N’ or coloured BLA CK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be
connected to the t erminal which is marked with
the letter ‘L ’ or coloured RED.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLO W
must be connected t o the terminal which is
marked with the lett er ‘E’ or coloured GREEN.
If a standar d 13-amp (BS 1 363) plug is used, a 3-amp fuse must be tted or, if any
other type of plug is used, a 3-amp or 5-am p fuse must be tted, either in the plug
or adaptor , or on the distribution board.
