An oven by its very nature becomes very hot. Especially the glass of the oven door .

If the o ven is to work properly , the kitchen housing must be suit abl e.
The panels of the ki tchen unit t h at are next to the oven must be
made of a heat resist ant materi al. Ensure that the glues of unit s
made of veneered wood can wit hstand tem peratur es of at least
120 ° C. Pla stic s o r g lu es th a t c anno t with sta nd suc h tempe ratu res
wil l m el t a nd defor m the u nit. Once the o ven ha s be en l odge d
inside the unit, the el e ct rical parts must be completely insulated.
This is a lega l safe ty requirement. All guards must be firmly f ixe d
into pl ace so that i t is impossi ble to remove them with out usi ng
special tools.
Remove the back of t he kitchen uni t to ensure an adequat e
curre nt of a ir c irculates ar o und the o v en. Th e h ob mu st ha ve
a rear gap of at least 45 mm.

that act s as earthi ng f or the oven. The oven must be properl y
earthed.

required to operate the oven.
An ON /OFF swi tch may also be connected t o the power supply .
The co nnections m ust take accou nt of the curr ent suppl ied and
must comp ly with cur re nt legal r equi rement s. The yel low-green
earthing cab le must not be g ove rned by the ON/OFF switch . The
socket or t he O N/OFF sw itch used f or conn ecting t o the po wer
supply must be easily accessible when the oven has been i nstalled.
Important: During installation, position the power cable in such a
way t hat it wi ll not be subj ect ed to tem peratu res of above 50°C
at any point.

Fit the ov en into th e space provided in the kitchen unit; it may be
fitted under neat h a wo rk top or int o an upr ight cupboar d.
