Assignable Buttons

Using an Assignable Button

After you assign a function to one of the buttons, press the button to

activate the function. For some functions, an options menu may appear.

In such case, select the desired option and then press SET.

Assignable Functions

Functions can be set separately in mode and mode. Refer to the following table for assignable

functions and available modes.

* Function can be used only by assigning it to a button.

[Standard IS] Turns standard IS on/off. N – 60

[Dynamic IS] Turns Dynamic IS on/off. N – 60

[Powered IS] Turns Powered IS on/off. N – 60

[Focus Limit] Turns the focus limit on/off. N – 59

[Face AF] Turns auto focusing on faces on/off. N – 58

[Select Face]* Selects the main subject when using [Face AF] to focus on subjects’ faces. N – 58

[Backlight] Turns the backlight light metering option on/off. N – 69

[Spotlight] Turns the spotlight light metering option on/off. N – 69

[Tele-converter] Turns the digital tele-converter on/off. N – 168

[Peaking] Turns peaking on/off. N – 56

[Zebra] Turns zebra patterns on/off. N – 80

[WFM (LCD)]

Activates video scopes in the following sequence:

Waveform monitor J Vectorscope J Edge monitor J Off

[Color Bars] Turns color bars on/off. N – 96

[Markers] Turns onscreen markers on/off. N – 79

[LCD Setup] Opens the [LCD Setup] submenu. N N 32

[LCD/VF B&W] Turns the B&W mode of the LCD and viewfinder on/off. N N 33

[Onscreen Display] Displays the onscreen icons and text on an external monitor (for both SD and HD output). N N 147

[Shot Mark 1] Adds an c mark to the clip. N N 100

[Shot Mark 2]* Adds an d mark to the clip. N N 100

[Add e Mark] Adds an e mark to the clip. N N 135

[Add Z Mark] Adds a Z mark to the clip. N N 135

[Time Code] Displays the [Time Code] submenu. N – 82
