Selectable temperature levels
100°C 120°C 140°C 160°C 180°C 200°C
Caution!
Risk of burning your hair if selected temperature is too high!
Depending on your hair type the wrongly selected temperature or improper use
of the straightener puts your hair at risk of drying out or in the worst case burning.
Listed below are the recommended temperature levels that should always
be observed:
Always select the lowest temperature level (100°C) when
using your straightener for the rst time.
Select a low temperature level of approx. 120°C for
blonde, bleached or colored hair.
Select a medium (140°C) or (160°C) temperature level for
normal and slightly wavy hair.
Select a high (180°C) or (200°C) temperature level for
very thick, curly and hard to straighten hair.
Straightening long hair

Hold the appliance at the handle (j), always at a safe distance from skin and eyes.
Use a mirror.
Part your hair into approx. 4 cm strands. ·
Hold the appliance in the hand as shown in · fig. 5.
Begin at the roots and lay the prepared strands one at a time between the ·
straightening plates (g). Close the appliance and draw the straightener slowly from
the roots through to the tips of your hair (see fig. 5). Repeat until your hair is as
straight as you desire.
After nishing styling, let your hair cool down and then comb it through.
Straightening short hair
Follow the instructions as for long hair, but instead of drawing the appliance through
your hair, clamp the strands in the appliance for approx. 10 seconds.
Styling hair in curls or waves

To form curls or waves, you should operate the appliance with both hands. To get a
better grip on the appliance, grasp it by the handle area (j) as well as by the
cool-tip (f).
