Important!
• Storing the watch for long periods in an area where there is no light or
wearing it in such a wa y that it is b locked from e xposure to light can cause
rechargeable battery power to run down. Be sure that the watch is exposed
to bright light whenev er possible.
• This watch uses a special rechargeable battery to store power produced b y
the solar cell, so regular battery replacement is not required. Howe v er , after
v ery long use, the rechargeable battery may lose its ability to achie ve a full
charge. If you experience problems getting the special rechargeab le battery
to charge fully , contact your dealer or CASIO distributor about ha ving it
replaced.
• Nev er try to remove or replace the w atch’s special battery yourself. Use of
the wrong type of battery can damage the watch.
• All data stored in memor y is deleted, and the current time and all other
settings return to their initial factory defaults whene ver battery power drops
to Lev el 5 and when y ou hav e the battery replaced.
• T urn on the watch’ s P ower Saving function and k eep it in an area normally
e xposed to bright light when storing it for long periods. This helps to k eep
the rechargeable battery from going dead.

• The flashing LOW indicator at Lev el 3 tells y ou that battery power is very
low , and that exposure to bright light for charging is required as soon as
possible.
• At Lev el 5, all functions are disab led and settings return to their initial
factory defaults . Once the battery reaches Le vel 2 (indicated by M indicator)
after falling to Le v el 5, reconfigure the current time, date , and other
settings.
• Display indicators reappear as soon as the battery is charged from Le vel 5
to Lev el 2.
• Leaving the w atch exposed to direct sunlight or some other v ery strong light
source can cause the battery power indicator to show a reading tempor arily
that is higher than the actual battery level. The correct battery lev el should
be indicated after a f ew minutes .
• P erf orming multiple sensor , illumination, or
beeper operations during a short per iod may
cause LMH (reco ver) to appear on the displa y .
Illumination, alarm, countdown timer alarm,
hourly time signal, and sensor operations will
be disabled until battery power reco vers .
After some time, battery power will recov er and
LMH (recov er) will disappear , indicating that
the abov e functions are enabled again.
• Even if battery power is at Lev el 1 or Le v el 2, the Barometer/Thermometer
Mode or Altimeter Mode sensor ma y be disabled if there is not enough
v oltage availab le to power it sufficiently . This is indicated by LMH (reco ver)
on the displa y .
• If LMH (recover) appears frequently , it probably means that remaining
battery power is low . Leave the w atch in bright light to allow it to charge.
