Managing
Your
Mobile Phone
Use Menu > Settings to configure your phone. Settings include options for phone, GPS,
security, connectivity, sound effects, and restoring factory settings
.
Setting
the Date and
T
ime
When you first start the phone, you are asked if you want the time and date to update
automatically using the time provided by the network.
Note: When the time provided by the network is automatically used, you cannot set the date,
time, and time zone.
1. Press Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Time and date > Set time/date.
2. Enter the time in HH:MM (hour:minutes) format. Press Select to toggle between AM and
PM.
3.
Enter the date in DD.MM.YYYY (day.month.year) format.
4.
Use the
scroll keys
to toggle daylight savings off and on.
5.
Press
OK.
The
Time and date
menu also allows you to enter your home city, change the time and date
format, and update with your time zone.
If you want the phone to auto-update the time, press
Phone settings > Auto update time
and use the
scroll keys
to toggle off and on.

the Displa
y
Adjusting
the Screen Brightness and Display Time
1. Press Menu > Settings > Phone settings > Misc. settings > LCD backlight.
2. Use the scroll keys to adjust the brightness lighter or darker.
3. Use the scroll keys to adjust the time in seconds before the screen turns off when it is
idle.

Setting
Phone Ringtone
To adjust phone volume and ringtone, press
Menu > User Profiles
.
Alternatively, press the
Select
key from the main screen.
The User profiles menu allows you to adjust or customize general phone settings, create and
activate your own style of settings, and adjust the volume for silent, meeting, or outdoor use.
Turning
On Silent Mode
1. From the main screen, press Select.
2. Under User profiles, press Silent > Options > Activate.
The phone remains in Silent mode until you select and activate another setting.
